Delicious daily menu at only €15. I tried some amazing pasta al ragù! Super friendly, attentive and caring service. The decor is very nice and creates a very warm atmosphere.

The food was delicious, we had the risotto, tagliata, the mixed salad which was the only mid meal we had and the lonzino with mushrooms as a starter. Recommend all of them, especially the tagliata! The red wine was so and so but the white one was really nice! The service was great even though we couldn’t communicate in english, that made it a lot of fun! Atmosphere was great, a lot of people eating alone and big tables as well. Prices are average for what you get, truly recommend!

Fantastic authentic Italian lunch! The daily menu was delicious, Toscana wine was perfect, and the Tiramisu was the final treat....freshly made, along with friendly service. We will be back for a visit.

Pleasant Christmas dinner with roommates at this small restaurant that is not very noticeable from the outside, but characteristic and welcoming in its internal spaces. The staff, cheerful and helpful, served us pleasantly and all the dishes we tasted lived up to our expectations. Maybe prices a little high for the quantities, but the quality is certainly there and can be felt. Advised.

After reading the good reviews of Casa Ernesto, we cancelled another reservation and chose to visit Casa Ernesto instead. We truly regret this. The place has a nice atmosphere and it seemed that all tables were booked, so that was a good sign. A young waitress welcomed us, and she was sweet and gave good advice when ordering. The food was disappointing and mediocre. Of all the places we have eaten in Italy this was the first place we did not get an appetizer. Small thing but an appetizer often gives a good idea of the standard of the kitchen. The servings were very old school and quite boring to look at (no wow effects). Examples are some salat leaves with balsamic and boring / soft fried potatoes. Also adding berries to a beef tartar was strange (and not really good). We ordered still water and it was served in a used bottle! My wife finished her first course first, and while I was still eating my food, her plate was taken by another waitress. Not good standard. The day before we had a huge and fantastic meal at another restaurant for the same price as today (EUR 80) and that included a bottle of wine. Today we only had two small glasses of red wine. So an expensive meal which not lived up to our expectations.

Let's start from the bottom: succulent, light, tasty food, never banal and never cloying on the palate, excellent meat, a polenta taragna unique in its lightness and velvety flavor that is never heavy, Oscar-worthy porcini mushrooms, phenomenal tagliatelle, a tiramisu made on the fly with "cream" whipped hand while the coffee comes out of the machine fresh and fragrant, a delicate and surprising mix of cold and hot. The dining room staff is a mixture of elegance, joyful welcome and precision in the service person. today was the birthday of one of the guests, they didn't have to be told twice and even though we hadn't booked, taaac it appeared to be the perfect table for us and our dogs. I am lucky enough to often taste cuisines and delicacies in various places in Europe, this is without a doubt among the top ten on my list. THANK YOU

Excellent Christmas dinner. Booked for 10 but no problem with the defection. The appetizers and polenta taragna are super. And no less important are the meat-based second courses. Keep it up and the other locals will have to run to get you....if they ever make it. I have already advertised the place to acquaintances....👍👍👍

Place that you find in the center of Bergamo, few places and original furnishings but the food is especially the meat is really good I recommend anyone who is in Bergamo

Locale carino con richiami rustici. Personale gentile e piatti buoni. Niente di eccezionale ma li abbiamo aporezzati. Parcheggio bisogna organizzarsi essendo San Bernardino alta. Prezzi nella media.

Des amis de la ville m'a emmené dans ce petit trattoria local pour déguster les spécialités de la région - bien heureusement car sans site web il serait difficile de le trouver sinon, et encore moins connaitre le menu. Tout en longueur vous passez dans les salles étroites avec tables et chaises en bois et décor fantaisie et éclectique aux murs. Nous avons goûté la spécialité de la ville en ormi piatti - les casoncelli: Pâtes farcies d'un mélange de viande, oeufs, pain et fromage et baignant dans une sauce au beurre et sauge. C'est juste succulent! L'autre spécialité de la maison sont les grillades - les tagliata. Belles petites tranches de boeuf accompagné de votre choix. Personnellement il me manquait du sel et poivre sur la viande - en ajoutant après cuisson on n'a pas le même goût mais la qualité de la viande était bonne. Le dessert dont j'ai oublié le nom etait incroyable - des fruits rouges dans une crème légère et onctueuse saupoudré de cacao. Pas un tiramisu mais juste on moment de merveille. Belle carte des vins locaux et pris tout à fait raisonnables. Mais il faut connaitre car ils ne font pas grand chose pour attirer les touristes !
