Very welcoming and warm place. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Excellent food. Generous platter with truly delicious cured meats and cold cuts. Tender and flavorful grilled meat. A wonderful experience.

Simply wow - the food was the best we got during this our visit to Italy; on a busy Saturday evening while all other places were fully booked they still managed to find a table for us. Service was a bit too slow but mainly because as mentioned before it was a busy period and there were only 2 waitresses. The only thing we didn’t like was tiramisu.

I would definitely return. Both the owner, who runs the kitchen, and his team are incredibly friendly. We ordered the set menu and sampled local dishes like the wine risotto and pork with polenta, which were absolutely delicious. Even the house wine was good. The place has its charm, and interestingly, you enter through the kitchen, giving you complete transparency into what goes on behind the scenes.

Our first time at this restaurant, which we chose based on the excellent reviews. We had a mixed platter and a cheese platter, followed by scarpinoc with thin pasta (I prefer them with rustic/thick pasta) and tagliatelle with wild boar. Everything was very good. We also had cantucci with vinsanto, water, and a bottle of Valpolicella Ripasso. All for €80. Excellent value. Very good service and clean premises.
Things to improve:
If you want to serve a wine by presenting the bottle at the table, leave it with the cork still on (those who see it with the cork half-open might think otherwise).
Improve the kitchen exhaust system.

I live in Cluj Napoca. I would take the Wizz in the morning to Bergamo, bus line 1 to the center, walk around the center a bit, have a coffee, then eat the tartare here and then come back with the Ryan in the afternoon. It's that good. Congratulations.
