The dishes were good, but overpriced for the amount of pasta served: the portions were truly tiny. We had to ask for bread several times, and they never brought us enough for six people. Overall, a beautiful location and good quality dishes, but the price isn't worth the quantity and type of pasta served... it's definitely overpriced! When it came to the bill, they wouldn't let us have a separate bill unless we paid in cash, sarcastically commenting when asked to pay the split bill by card... (However, in the end, we managed to pay partly in cash and partly by debit card). Overall, a huge disappointment; we expected more...!

You MUST take the quick turn off the busy street to Corte 1642. The atmosphere is a beautiful open air garden feel. The service is impeccable, with everyone genuinely thrilled you’re there. The cicchetti will live forever in my dreams.

Wow we loved this place so much! The staff was the best we've encountered during our 3 week stay in Italy and the food was top tier!! We got the #3 bruschetta, the pork chop, pesto pasta and the ragu with foie gras and everything was absolutely amazing!! Also shoutout to their non-alcoholic spritz which was perfection. We were seated at the big community table and got talking with the other couple all night long and it was just an amazing dining experience. Go here! You won't regret it!!

A reservation is a must. We arrived prior to the evening opening to attempt to get a table. We managed to without a reservation and had a lovely dinner. The food was excellent and the service just as good. Only down side was how many prawns you get in the pasta dish! Quite a pricey location.

A must-visit if you are in Venice! Truly the best meal we had. We made a reservation by reaching out on Instagram. We enjoyed everything we had, but the pasta with gorgonzola was truly one of the best things I have ever eaten.

Absolutely amazing place, the service was so nice and extremely friendly. Lots of interesting trinkets used as decoration, great big smile when we were greeted. The cicchetti was delicious and had a lot of variety, would definitely recommend the fresh pasta it's so worth it. I'd strongly recommend coming!

A Hidden Gem in Venice – Exceptional Food & Service. La Corte 1642 is a lovely, quaint restaurant tucked away from the busier parts of Venice — truly a hidden gem. We decided to visit after reading glowing reviews, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. Although we initially couldn’t get through by phone to make a reservation, we arrived around 7:30pm and were informed the restaurant was fully booked. Thankfully, the staff were very accommodating — the server took my number and kindly arranged a table for 9pm. True to their word, we returned and were seated as promised. The food was outstanding from start to finish. We shared the cod starter and the meatballs, both full of flavour and beautifully presented. For mains, we had the tomato pasta with mozzarella and the seafood pasta — both delicious and well-executed. We ended the meal with tiramisu, which was exceptional — one of the best we’ve ever had. A special thank you to Angela, who was warm, friendly, and made the entire dining experience relaxed and enjoyable with her attentive service. Prices were very reasonable for Venice, especially considering the quality and experience. My only suggestion would be to consider investing in outdoor heating, as it did get quite chilly in the evening. Overall, a wonderful dining experience — highly recommended!

A restaurant recommended by one of the influencers. I got there on the very last day of my stay in Venice. It was around 8:30 p.m. To my surprise the place was absolutely full, even though it was supposed to be a little, unknown spot. The atmosphere was lively, people chatting, the air filled with the smell of delicious food. There were a few people waiting in front of me. The waitress said the wait would be about 30 minutes, they agreed. Then it was my turn. I asked for a table for one. A lovely waitress named Elisa said it would be difficult, but then added that there was one small table available. I immediately said I’d take it and that it was perfectly fine for me. I sat down. A moment later, my table was set and I ordered my meal. The wine arrived first, and shortly after, my food. What can I say… it was delicious! The pasta as you’d expect in Italy, was perfectly al dente. But what really surprised me was the wonderfully cooked, crispy bacon. I absolutely recommend this place. The whole team was incredibly friendly, and a huge thank you to Elisa for finding a table for me and for her excellent service.
