Beautiful fresh Venetian food in a stylish room. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Great advice from the sommelier too and we had a lovely wine to match our food choices.
Will definitely visit again next time in venice !

A wonderful experience at this restaurant. The dishes were delicious and original. The ingredients are local, and the suppliers are listed. The decor is very pleasant, with a view of the open kitchen.

This place may be my new favorite restaurant near all the tourist traps in Venice. It’s a half block around the corner from the main drag and a bit hidden, but it’s worth the patience of finding it.

Given the rave reviews, we went for dinner. The raw seafood appetizer (€40), the marinated salmon, and the lagoon fish and shellfish soup were all very good. However, things got significantly worse with the fritto misto: the fried fish wasn't well done (wet, inconsistent, lacking crispiness, and not enough salt). We politely pointed this out to the waiter (at his request); a small gesture, like offering a coffee, would have been appreciated, but there was no response (the service, however, was very good). In short, perhaps we were unlucky that evening, but for a restaurant of this caliber (€170 for two, with two glasses of wine), we expected something a little better, at least on a brasserie-style dish.

The meals were well prepared and presented. Loved the atmosphere, delicious and beautiful food. The waitress also recommended good wines to go with the food. I went back again before leaving Venice.

The dishes were very delicious, and the service was warm and welcoming. They kindly let us in 15 minutes earlier, which we really appreciated since we were heading to the airport with backpacks.
There was a funny little mix-up when I ordered an Americano coffee and received an Americano cocktail instead. The confusion wasn’t cleared up, and the waiter looked a bit disappointed—so I decided to drink the cocktail and make everyone happy. Sometimes you don’t choose the drink, the drink chooses you 😄
