Excellent and wide choice of wines. Super desserts. Warm and comfortable environment, ideal for a romantic dog or to chat. A must try if you go to Venice

A beautiful restaurant near Rialto on two floors recently renovated. We mainly ate fish, a soup and grilled eel, which was excellent, some tagliolini with venison ragù and for the starter, a good bottle of Pinot Noir from Alto Adige/South Tyrol. The service is also excellent. The tiramesu is not up to par. A little expensive, but we are in the center of Venice!

Elegant and simple place at the same time. Intimate atmosphere, very friendly staff. We had a Danish beef tartare with truffle and salted butter, two portions of wholemeal tagliatelle with venison ragout and two glasses of wine. For dessert, tiramisu with amaretti biscuits Everything exceeded our expectations, the bill in line with the service and quality offered.

During my recent visit to the "Casa Cappellari" restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me immediately feel at ease. The room was elegantly furnished, with attention to detail that reflected the high quality of the venue. The dishes were simply extraordinary! Each course was a symphony of flavours, prepared with the freshest ingredients and served with impeccable presentation. The menu offers a variety of options that satisfy every palate, from local culinary tradition to modern interpretations. The service was impeccable. The staff, always smiling and helpful. There was not a single request that was not met with efficiency and courtesy. Ultimately, the "Casa Cappellari" restaurant represents a perfect combination of refined cuisine and excellent service. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable dining experience.

Truly super place. 5 of us ate and we really had a great time 😍 Super welcoming, very kind and the atmosphere is perfect 🤩 The food was truly top of the line: I ordered the hamburger with chips. All the food was top quality and felt like it was homemade, including mayonnaise and ketchup 🤤 Impeccable service🔥 Super super recommended🫶❤️ Unfortunately I didn't photograph anything🥲🥲

Wonderful restaurant. We came two days ago and we returned today before our return home because it is a must-see and we wanted to repeat. Beautiful, delicious. I wish you many years of success.

Beautiful restaurant located in a renovated house. Delicate cuisine, also serving Venetian dishes.

A charming newish space that is not on the map of obvious restaurant choices that was recommended to us by our hosts. The restaurant had more locals than tourists and, seems like, this type of restaurants end up being filled up past 8pm which can be good or bad depending on whether you like eating in a crowded space or not. The food at first seems unnecessarily fancy and decorations excessive but then I was quite happy that the tastes are actually classic and very correct. Also, while the prices are quite high, portions tend to be very generous so you won’t feel overcharged. The “angry red” pasta with squid and its ink was the only dish which I was not overly excited about. The pasta itself, peppery and spicy and perfectly al dente was beautiful, the squid nice and tender, but the ink sauce was super salty and excessive so that the nuance of the other tastes on the place was lost. The fish soup was wonderful, with a light and shellfish dominated taste, all the seafood inside quite perfect and tasty. It’s a classic and make sure you don’t expect that the pieces of seafood are thrown in at the last minute, so they’ve certainly given some of their goodness away. Lovely indeed. The local eel with fried artichokes and sweet potato purée was gorgeous. Impeccably cooked fillet, nicely chewy and slightly sweet as eel should be is beautifully accented by the crunchy and earthy artichoke and comforted by light and sweet purée which is a much better company to the fish than the often bluntly sweet teriyaki you get in a multitude of sushi places. Very nice overall. Neither an old school Osteria nor a super fancy place. A good choice when in Venice.

Very good (and beautiful) restaurant in Venice for lunch. Lots of fish specialties (obviously) but certainly of much higher quality than the other restaurants in Venice. Too bad the Milanese veal chop was a little too salty. I recommend!
