One of my favorite restaurants in Rome! It's hard to find one like this. Beautiful location. Elegant, but not overly so. Refined, but not overly so. Traditional cuisine, but with very interesting options. The service is appropriate for the location. It's perfect for a family dinner, a business dinner, or a slightly more special occasion. Truly a noteworthy place.

Very good diner in a beautiful place with a very friendly and professional service

I came with friends to this beautiful and historic restaurant, knowing that I'm a good food connoisseur. We spent a wonderful, peaceful evening, with no noise between the tables. We ordered a Roman cuisine menu, featuring classic, wonderfully cooked artichokes accompanied by puntarelle (chicory root vegetables). Then, I ordered a matriciana of square mezze paccheri with a pasta dish I adore, knowing it stays cooked forever. I compliment the chef and the owners of the restaurant for these simple, classic Roman dishes. We also enjoyed a large and excellent wine cellar, stocked with both Italian and international wines, and drank an excellent red wine that accompanied our dishes during this enchanting dinner, finishing with a delicious dessert. My heartfelt congratulations for making customers fall in love with this restaurant.

Probably the best thing about them is their wine cellar, but I don't drink. The food wasn't bad, but nothing memorable either. The service was very good, polite and competent, no complaints there. But the square tubettoni with creamed cabbage and sausage weren't good: semi-raw pasta, tough sausage, and tasteless cauliflower. The appetizers weren't bad, especially the artichokes with squid, but again, not excellent. The atmosphere and welcome were excellent. But, again, I don't drink, so maybe the wines are worth it?

We ordered an artichoke appetizer off the menu. Two measly stemless artichoke hearts arrived for €12 a plate. Then came two first courses, but the portions were also small. Two glasses of wine. And finally, the price of one first course was incorrect on the bill. I pointed this out to the waiter, who confirmed the price without checking the menu, where it was actually lower. Not recommended.
