Unassuming entrance belies a spacious and refined interior. Mid-week lunchtime, the clientele seemed to be made up of business people and well dressed locals. Discreet service with good food, and a world away from the cramped bustle of the nearby touristy eateries.

Tucked away in a 16th-century palazzo near Piazza Navona, Casa Bleve is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were struck by the elegance of the high vaulted ceilings and grand archways, creating an atmosphere that felt both historic and intimate. One of the most fascinating aspects of dining here is knowing that beneath our feet lies a beautifully restored Roman wall from the Augustan age, visible in the restaurant’s stunning wine cellar. The sense of history is everywhere, yet it blends seamlessly with warm hospitality and outstanding cuisine. The menu is a celebration of Italian flavors, with highlights like creamy burrata from Puglia served with fruit compote and delicate roasted sweet pepper rolls filled with tuna, capers, and anchovy pâté. Every dish felt carefully curated, and the wine selection was just as impressive. The staff were knowledgeable and passionate about their wines, helping us choose the perfect pairings to enhance our meal. Casa Bleve isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to linger, savor, and enjoy. DON’T MISS this spot for an unbelievable Italian meal. One of our very favorite dinners while in Rome. Attire is Dressy- to Dressy Casual- most wearing a jacket or coat. Service was extremely attentive but not over bearing. Unreal wine list. Soooo good. I would absolutely return for another meal. Reservation needed.

It was recommended to us but I’m sorry, the food was surprisingly bland & tasteless.

Se encuentra dentro de un palacio noble en el corazón del centro histórico, a pocos pasos de la Plaza Navona. Escenario elegante y gran atención al detalle. En cuanto a la experiencia gastronómica, ciertamente no se irá con hambre. Nos quedamos muy contentos con su carta de vinos y carta de menús bastante extensa Todo era de alta calidad, bien cocinado y bien presentado. El personal era muy amable y bien informado, y la comida era genial. Los precios eran un poco altos, porque perfectamente en línea con la calidad de la comida servida. Lo recomendamos. Vale la pena parar.
