Abbiamo cenato da Carpe diem durante il nostro soggiorno sull'isola. Ottimi i panini: ben conditi e grandi, ad un prezzo ragionevole. Mi è piaciuto moltissimo il tris di cucunci, aglio e olive, davvero particolare. Servizio efficiente e personale molto gentile. Infine, un'ottima selezione di musica anni '80 di sottofondo. Siamo stati bene

This is an active and very friendly bar. We returned after 12 years and met Claudio once again who was as welcoming as last time. He enjoys talking about the island and learning about his customers- a very friendly and happy spot. Looking forward to our next holiday and returning once again. Also great cocktails!

Carpe Diem is a place where you can spend time pleasantly... in the company of Claudio and Maxi who make this place a perfect meeting place for young and otherwise young people 😃 The atmosphere you breathe is simply festive and joyful, a panoramic place from which you can admire the natural landscape and the port of Ustica. What can we say about the cuisine, the sandwiches are artfully prepared by the legendary Lulù, who with skill and passion prepares simple sandwiches and makes them not only enjoyable to taste, but also beautiful to look at, all delicious, especially the gourmet sandwich Potenzano, which with its toasted cherry tomato and the sauce that accompanies it makes it truly appetizing from the first to the last bite. And what about masterful cocktails, do we want to talk about it? Claudio's Margarita is exceptionally balanced in taste and fresh on the palate, after the first one, you try to follow another, without forgetting the gins present in the place, an infinite variety of Premiums that make any cocktail special, because the gins that they make it up. Without forgetting that Maxi is the master of frozen, always fresh and never cloying. What can I say, Carpe Diem is a must for anyone arriving in Ustica, a one-of-a-kind venue that makes your stay on the island a pleasant and unique experience. Carpe Diem, only for number one!

Carpe Diem in Ustica is a place that combines excellent food, quality drinks, a welcoming environment and a spectacular view. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy island life. Claudio and Max treated me like a member of their family. I'll be back! And it's not a threat 😜

01/11/2024: Seeing a daisy for 5 euros made me nostalgic for the lira!!!! So: are you a little tired of choosing between 8 types of wheat, 6 leavening methods, DOP and DOC ingredients, and paying 18 euros for a pizza? Take a walk, pay attention to the navigator that will take you off the state road in vain, instead follow the barely visible sign indicating Agrigento, with caution since the horizontal signs are to be reported, and you will find yourself in the eighties!! With a bill written in pen. But who cares. Once in Bagheria, on a 15 euro pizza I paid an additional euro for a bit of red onion "from Villabate"... Maybe we'll go back one evening to try the first courses. Oh I forgot. The area is named for "U cudduruni", an opponent of the Bagherese sfincione. We got it, good, not top (Ciminna's should be top)
17/08/2024: Last year I was already in this place and now I can say that it has changed for the better. About a week ago my family and I went to dinner and spent little. The staff were super friendly and kind. The menu offers a wide choice of dishes. I recommend the "burrata" pizza for its simplicity, it is delicious, well cooked and the ingredients are very good.
