Hamburghers with careful selection of the best Italian meat (Ragusan Beef, Chianina, Fassona from Piedmont among the others,...), and good combination of ingredients. Perfect balance between quality and quantity. You definitely need to go and try.

I was a regular customer until before the pandemic, then, for one reason or another, I didn't return for five years, until yesterday.
After so long, the place has remained intact over time, as has the goodness of the sandwiches and the kindness of the staff. This clearly surprised me, but, unfortunately, not only in a positive way.
A pioneer sandwich shop like Carnivorous, among the first, if not the very first, in Ragusa to offer quality, tasty, plentiful burgers with competitive prices (these too, surprisingly remained unchanged), no longer satisfies, in my opinion, the new demands of the times.
We are going through a historical moment in which consumer needs have changed, as have habits, and restaurateurs are expanding their menus to make them as accessible and inclusive as possible.
Upon returning and finding an unchanged menu I felt comfort, almost like a dive into the past, as well as sadness and disappointment. The menu does not include the existence of even a single vegetarian choice, despite the excellent vegetable or meat-like burgers now present everywhere. Fortunately, in many sandwich shops in the area, even much less renowned than this one, it is possible to find good vegetable choices on the menu, and it is precisely this that makes me wonder why, in 2024, a sandwich shop that knows how to work so well has not yet expanded its his offer in this regard.
I hope this review is a point of reflection for the owner, from a customer, once terribly carnivorous, who is no longer so, but would still like to go back to enjoying a "Carnivorous" sandwich in a vegetable version.
