Due to highway construction, which forced us to exit shortly after Florence, we found the Carmagnini restaurant along Provincial Road 8, where, as it was now lunchtime, we stopped.
We never imagined we'd find such high-quality food. Everything was excellent, even the coffee, which is usually not excellent in restaurants, was delicious and served in an elegant white ceramic cup.
Our warmest compliments to the excellent chef and the very kind wait staff.
P.S. The Carmagnini restaurant is one we would recommend to anyone who wants to savor excellent, tasty dishes, freshly cooked, and made with top-quality ingredients.

We were passing through and stopped here by chance, and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience.
The food was excellent, with well-prepared and carefully prepared dishes. The staff was friendly yet professional.

Really a welcoming place
There is a nice view of the plants
But there is not much light
Very high roof
Nice plates, glasses and cutlery
Good choice in sweets
Good choice in changing the knife for the meat
Good wine and cheese
Excellent and abundant grill
Good Mugello tortelli
Good salad, good oil, good balsamic vinegar
There was a fly

We went back there as the place is magic cause its mountains view and high ceiling . Delicious food , except dessert but it wasnt important.

I have had the pleasure of tasting the superlative dishes of this 'gem' among the hills several times. In addition to the excellent food and the attentive but discreet service, you will immerse yourself in a warm and relaxing atmosphere, in the winter season accompanied by the flame of a beautiful fireplace.

Great potential, excellent cuisine, very kind service, a slightly dated but welcoming environment. I only gave three stars for the way the room looks, it could do with a little freshening up (in my opinion) but the food is good, the stuffed rabbit, the appetizers and the pappardelle with wild boar very good, I have to go back and I recommend it, the price is normal, the courses are not suitable for dividing in two but enough for one.
