My wife and I were staying at the Tower Hotel next door before flying out of MXP. We wanted somewhere within walking distance so we wouldn’t have to worry about parking. Carbone did not disappoint! The service was fantastic and we were given some great pointers as Americans not very familiar with Italian or the sauces. (the ones that start with pomodoro are red tomato based sauces). Everything came quickly and as ordered. The aperol spritz was sensational, and the pizza was delicious. If this was a pizzeria at home, we’d certainly become regulars. We loved the thin crust and the sauce was delightful. If we’re ever staying near MXP in the future, we’ll be back.
