Caprizza Pizzeria e Friggitoria In Bergamo

Four of us arrived at the restaurant on a Friday evening just before 8:00 PM. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they welcomed us kindly and without hesitation. We sat at table number 1, and the entire evening was perfect, just like our table number. The waitress was fabulous, the waiters were all friendly and attentive but not overwhelming, and very kind to each other. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid-back, noisy and packed but still very pleasant, conversation was easy. The seats were comfortable, the service was fast-paced. And the food! Oh my God, the food was absolutely delicious! The ingredients were undoubtedly fresh and tasty, and I've never had a pizza so good that the crust melts in your mouth—not even in Campania! Alberto, our charismatic maître d', even anticipated our needs. I don't understand how they have such bad reviews. For us, it was all finger-licking good! Thank you, Caprizza team!

For our short stay in Bergamo, we have visited the restaurant twice and all I can say is that the staff were super friendly and welcoming, the food was very delicious (definitely the best pizza I’ve ever tasted!) and the service was fast and professional 👏

We had dinner for Valentine's Day. Savory pancakes to welcome us, delicious octopus, and fantastic fried pizza! We'll be back!

We booked a table for 8:30 PM on a Saturday night, and we sat down at 9 PM because they waited for a table to become available. So, the reservation is absolutely pointless. We sat down at 9 PM, they took our order at their leisure, and the pizzas arrived at 10:15 PM!!!! In the meantime, they delivered dozens of takeout pizzas. Non-existent customer service. Very sloppy and rude staff. Extremely noisy place. Absolutely not recommended on Saturday nights; I don't know about other days. It's a shame because the pizza was really good.

We ate the pizza 🍕. Excellent, easy to digest. We will definitely return to this place 😘💯
