27/05/2025: Premise: very good pizzas (thin, quality ingredients and original combinations), special beers, friendly staff, reasonable bill.
We book the second round, at 8:00 pm, we arrive on time. The pizzas - all 4 decidedly pale (mine quite cold, my husband's with the sauce a bit raw), not the size so much praised by those who had already been there but, I repeat, good - arrive at the table at 8:45 pm. We remain abandoned to ourselves until 9:30 pm (like half an hour after finishing the pizzas?), when the waiter comes asking us if we wanted anything else. We are about to order 1 more pizza but he interrupts us telling us that we wouldn't have time for more pizzas because there was the next round and, in any case, we would have had to hurry for dessert too and he leaves, without even giving us time to order coffees. We intercept another guy, we get the coffee, we get up, pay and leave.
Now: we would have definitely taken at least 1 more pizza, 3 more beers and 4 desserts. Maybe, if the service had been "slightly" more prompt, we would have made it in time (even if a bit with the funnel?), they would have earned it and we would all have been happier. If the "justification" is the amount of customers to serve, I think the issue of shifts or at least the timing of the shift should be reviewed.
