Cappuccino da Angiolina In Modena

Stumbled upon it by chance. Meals served on the terrace. Simple and typical cuisine. Good address with reasonable prices for a place in the center.

Good food in a cozy environment with nice people. Very good pasta with the parimigiano sauce or tortelli al ragu. Menu on the wall. At the end, not sure we paid exactly what we eat, but not a big deal

Quick lunch in the heart of Modena in this semi-hidden place, in an alley opposite the market. Splendid day, crowded place but you don't suffer from the confusion. The place is a mix between a historic place and a trattoria refreshed in the 90s. Little choice of dishes (thank goodness), normal prices. Very good tortelloni with ragù and tortellini with parmesan cream, accompanied with a fresh bottle of Lambrusco. The waitress very kind and professional; the total bill was around €15 each (four first courses, a bottle of Lambrusco and one of water). An unpretentious lunch but with good food and good sensations.

I think we got lucky and didn't get taken for a ride like maybe others have. The servers were all in good spirits and very happy and funny. We asked about then taking card as we only started to read reviews once we had some drinks, they said yes and in the end they did. There was no drinks menu and only a food menu on the wall (with prices). We knew what we wanted so we had our fingers crossed it wasn't too much. We got loads of aperitivo style snacks. At the end I think they pulled a number out of the air and charged us, but it was reasonable.

Small place with adjacent room and outdoor tables that can be used in any season. The coffee is good and the options for the lunch break are not bad. They are also nice.

We ate yesterday and it was nice. Some cheese and tagiatteli with Ragú. Everything was very correct and very well attended to by the staff.
