A farm on a hill surrounded by greenery with an agritourism where you can taste the farm's products; you can find the genuine flavors of the past...Gabriella the shepherdess of Forrottoli is a force of nature 💚 it's a small world where everything is possible: from the educational farm for children to the various workshops to direct sales. We celebrated our grandfather's 90th birthday....we had a great time, it's like taking a dive into the past in that "quarrata" that no longer exists.....but which lives only in the memories of those who lived there...we will definitely be back!

In a warm pastoral environment stands this beautiful farmhouse. As soon as you enter you are greeted by the bleating of the sheep, the horse (whose name I don't remember), the colorful blue rooster, the mooing of the cows and the sweet ponies that are free in the large garden, while the goats go to graze down the private road...the acrid smell of the countryside enters your nose and you find yourself in a pure and uncontaminated medieval environment, where the children go crazy with the joy of seeing so many animals and even being able to feed them, under the attentive supervision of parents and Graziella who lists their names and tells you their stories. You sit at the typical tables of rural places and are inebriated by the smells of your grandmother's kitchen. Each course is served with a smile on the lips by the good and sweet Bianca or by the gruff but friendly Umberto, all washed down with a good new wine, which you can drink as if it were water, without giving you any subsequent discomfort. The exceptional starters: cold cuts, cheeses with jam and a taste of Tuscan soup; all cooked with genuine, truly organic and zero km products; divine tagliatelle with ragù, mixed meats with delicious roast potatoes, never heard of a more tender chicken and above all rediscover the true flavors of meats that you can hardly find elsewhere. The ingredient of each course was friendliness and kindness; at the end of the meal, with coffee and digestive, you are entertained with the stories of Gabriella, owner of the farm together with her sister, a cook and a woman of great intelligence that you need to know to truly appreciate. Thank you Graziella for the time you dedicate to us every time, despite your countless commitments... it is always a great pleasure to listen to you.

Questa è un’esperienza, un tuffo in mondo antico, quando la ristorazione non era contaminata da una serie di formalismi ed etichette. Potete avere due approcci, quello del “si mangia tanto, si spende poco” o l’altro, che preferisco “genuinità e ricchezza di sapori”. Non troverete un locale “trendy” con apparecchiatura ricca di posate e bicchieri. Sì cena nella cantina con tanto di botti di cemento. Quindi se cercate un luogo raffinato evitate. Se invece desiderate sentire sapori genuini, prodotti che altri vi proporrebbero con lunghe descrizioni, questo è il posto giusto. Non c’è menu, vi sedete e portano tutto loro. Antipasto: affettati e formaggi di elevata qualità. Una ricotta di giornata semplicemente deliziosa (detto da chi non la ama) con confettura di amarasche. Poi ribollita con baccalà semplicemente deliziosa e tagliatelle al ragù uniche! Maiale arrosto e uno spezzatino di manzo stracotto con carote decisamente buoni. Per finire dolce all’arancia, vin santo e nocino. Ribadisco, è esperienza culinaria basata su prodotti di alta qualità. Più che consigliato!!
