I discovered this place by chance, even though it has excellent positions on the internet and has a nice digital showcase. Characteristic atmosphere and very helpful staff. I devoured the plin with good taste with roast sauce and a stewed ossobuco, with an obligatory final shoe with the bread they produced. If I'm in the area again I'll do it again and try the dessert list!

In my opinion, it is one of the last, trattorias, taverns, the so-called "piole". An internal room with a circular bar counter. About ten tables. Rustic and pleasant furnishings; you can breathe the air of times gone by. Piedmontese cuisine that strictly respects ancient recipes (fortunately there are no very elaborate interpretations). Excellent quality raw materials, optimally used. Excellent choice of wines. Professional and friendly owner and staff. Outside, two large dehors for spring - summer use.

Looking for a restaurant open on Sunday for lunch near the Flixbus stop we ended up here. The welcome, the service and the dishes served deserve only praise. The quality-price ratio is more than excellent. We will definitely be back. Greetings from Mantua

Nel cuore di Borgo San Paolo, il Cantinone è una verace bottiglieria di quartiere trasformatasi nel corso del tempo in un locale dove si mangia senza aver perso l'atmosfera . Il bancone in legno, le bottiglie sugli scaffali, l'affabilità dell'accoglienza invitano i clienti a sedersi e a ordinare i piatti scritti sudi una lavagna. Cucina piemontese, con alcune divagazioni nella vicina Liguria. Buona scelta di vini e prezzi onesti.
