This was just the best wine tasting experience- we were shown the vineyard and olive trees and given some history by the wonderful Eleanor a very knowledgeable sommelier and then experienced their amazing wines with nibbles - it was absolutely the best experience in our wonderful trip to Rome. This is a whole family affair and the love shines through. Thank you so much for the experience!
We've been on a few winery tours through the years, and this one held its own to those. This was not an in-depth tour of the entire process but more light hearted in nature -- sipping a glass of wine while standing in the field.
Moving from field into the dining hall, tables were set beautifully. Lots of old vintage china being used ... lots of character on display on table and on the wall deco.
Lunch was multi-course and a different wine accompanied each course. It was a great way to sample. I will say food was excellent and we discovered we liked the dessert wine, in particular. This was a surprise to us.
We look forward to receiving our case of wine ... the olive oil has already arrived!
We definitely will be back on our next trip.
