One of my favorite places in Rome, if not my favorite. In a city where pasta is everywhere, there inevitably comes a time when you crave something different. And that's exactly where this winery comes in. A small and welcoming restaurant with a true family feel. As soon as you enter, you feel like you've been transported to a mountain chalet: wooden furnishings, authentic details, objects that speak to the region, and a rare attention to detail. A warm, reassuring place where you immediately feel at home. The staff is simply extraordinary: attentive, professional, and multilingual. Special thanks to Elena, who speaks four languages ​​with disarming ease, and to Claudio, a constant and tireless presence, who moves like an arrow between the tables, coordinating everything with precision and ensuring truly high-quality service. This place also carries a fascinating history: when he was still a cardinal, the future Pope Ratzinger loved to stop here. Even today, the table at which he used to sit is frequented with particular affection by the Swiss Guard, as if that silent bond with the past remains intact. And then, of course, there's the food. Authentic, sincere Tyrolean cuisine, without unnecessary artifice. My favorite dish is the shank: a masterpiece. The meat is incredibly tender, falling off the bone on its own, juicy, enveloped in a rich, deep sauce that smells of slow cooking and patience. Every bite is filling, warm, comforting. One of those dishes that makes you close your eyes for a second and forget everything else. A place I always return to, and will continue to return to. For the atmosphere, the people, and the cuisine that still excites.

Last night we returned to the Tirolese restaurant for dinner, and it was wonderful as always! IT'S THE BEST FOOD—I fell in love with this place from the first time I visited! My favorite dishes are Spinatspätzle, the pork shank, and the strudel. 😍 Chef Arian is amazing, congratulations! What a wonderful atmosphere! 🥹 I often find Elena and Claudio on duty—simply the best! I'll definitely be back many more times and bring my friends too!

From my experience, it honestly seems a bit overrated...the fondue was good but not particularly flavorful, served with very old bread that ruined everything. Excessively priced (40 euros). The soup was good, but the portion was really small, even for the price. The venison tasted of vinegar...a small portion, too. The strudel wasn't anything special...it definitely wasn't fresh either. A real disappointment.

Let me start by saying that we've been frequenting this restaurant for years, so we're familiar with the atmosphere, food, and service. This year, however, we've encountered several issues, and it seems only right to point them out. We arrived at the table, and within 10 minutes, our plates were already in front of us. We were surprised to begin eating, but we were deeply disappointed to find the food cold. From the polenta and potatoes, to the pretzels that tasted like Lidl's, to the flavored mayonnaises for €1 each, we were honestly disappointed. On a positive note, the pork knuckle and the service were excellent, as always. Prices remain relatively high. My advice: I'd make diners wait a few minutes longer and have hot food brought to their tables. I understand the need to free up tables, but that's how you're going to lose customers.

A very quaint and beautiful place, consisting of two rooms, a smaller one at the entrance and a larger one downstairs. Nice selection of products and excellent quality. Fast and attentive service. The only downside is that the prices are a bit too high, which keeps me from giving it the full 5 stars. Anyway, it's worth a try, you'll be delighted!

01/02/2026: We celebrated our wedding vows just yesterday, and it was the best decision we ever made: simply perfect! Delicious food, a warm welcome, and an attention to detail that truly makes the difference. They treated me wonderfully, and I can't wait to return. A true gem! PS: Try the savory magnum because it's truly amazing, and they have no problem with celiac disease! Highly recommended!
