Cantina Rampa dal 1946 In Siracusa

Had the most amazing meal here a couple of evenings ago. I had meatballs, best ever and my partner had sardines. The setting is stunning in a beautiful courtyard and the food is amazing. The young lady who served us ( so sorry I can't remember your name) was just lovely and to finish the meal we had two mandarin limoncellas to finish, which they make on the premises. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend, you'll be glad you went.🙂🙂

Das war aber super. Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert ausprobiert. Alles war selbst gemacht und sehr hochwertig. Das Ambiente war urig und ein kleiner Geheimtipp. Bitte geht hierher, wenn ihr mal was anderes haben wollt, Original sizilianische Küche.

This was one of the nicest dining experiences we’ve had among many delicious meals in Sicily. The food was fresh and beautifully presented, the service was excellent, and the ambiance—in an arched stone entryway to an ancient courtyard—was gorgeous. We had the special pasta, which was a house made ravioli stuffed with ricotta and fish in a butter sage sauce; it was wonderful, and so different! The antipasto was a nice small selection of Sicilian delights, and the stuffed pepper was really flavorful.

We had a wonderful evening at Cantina Rampa. Because it got very cold in the evening in April, we were able to sit inside at short notice. Everything is lovingly decorated; you sit comfortably. The friendly employee who spoke English very well recommended a wonderful Sicilian red wine, which was also great in terms of price. We shared the mixed antipasti platter between the two of us. It was generously sized and very varied with hot and cold dishes. For the main course we “only” chose pasta. The portion was more than enough. Both pasta dishes, one with swordfish and the other Pasta alla Norma, tasted extremely good. A clear recommendation for Ortigia!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend in der Cantina Rampa. Weil es am Abend im April doch sehr kühl wurde, konnten wir kurzfristig innen sitzen. Alles ist liebevoll dekoriert; man sitzt bequem. Die freundliche, sehr gut englisch sprechende Mitarbeiterin hat uns einen wunderbaren sizilianischen Rotwein empfohlen, der auch preislich top war. Die gemischte Antipastiplatte haben wir uns zu zweit geteilt. Sie war großzügig dimensioniert und sehr abwechslungsreich mit warmen und kalten Speisen. Als Hauptgericht haben wir „nur“ noch Pasta gewählt. Es war von der Portion her mehr als ausreichend. Beide Nudelgerichte, einmal mit Schwertfisch, einmal Pasta alla Norma, waren geschmacklich ausgesprochen gut. Eine klare Empfehlung für Ortigia!
