We had lunch here and it was excellent.i took the Cavati spada e melanzane and it was really tasty. The atmosphere was very nice and service was excellent. I would absolutely recommend this place!

Wonderful experience! We came in for a drink but stayed for lunch once we spoke to the wonderful servers here. Everything is genuine Sicilian…no modernity here! Wonderful aperitivo, superb pasta and “to die for” semi-freddo! Highly recommend.

Excellent food, perfect fried fish and really good first courses. The place was full so inevitably a little time passed between one course and the other, but otherwise everything was perfect I would go back hands down, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent evening

We had a lovely time at Cantina Rampa! Pietro was a fantastic and considerate host and we really appreciate the effort and thought he put in to making our experience as good as possible. We visited the day before to ask if we could book for the next evening and he was very accommodating, even asking for our table preference. On the evening, he was very helpful with the menu and told us lots about the history of the food, the restaurant and Siracusa and was polite and courteous throughout. The food was also great, particularly the baccala. We would highly recommend!

A wonderful family run Sicilian restaurant, with a beautiful courtyard. The food was excellent, we started with the fennel and orange salad, then the pasta ala Norma and pistachio ravioli, then ended with the lamb chops. Dessert to finish and all with a beautiful bottle of Sicilian wine. The place was filled with locals and regulars, we were one of the few tourists in there. A wonderful experience.

Abbiamo pranzato oggi, venerdì santo, in questo ristorante. Abbiamo preso una pasta alla Norma e degli spaghetti alla siracusana e abbiamo concluso con una cassata siciliana. Il tutto accompagnato da un nero d’Avola prodotto a Noto. La qualità è veramente elevata ed è accompagnata da una grande gentilezza da parte del personale. Consigliato

18/07/2024: We had a weird experience on our first visit - we got a Pizza menu although we wanted to try seafood. The Pizza menu had a QR code that opened a full menu on their website (guess we all have smartphones with Internet connection). And the waiting time was a bit long (15-20 min the moment we were ready). Anyway, fast-forward - we had the grilled squid and tuna (well-cooked as requested) and we couldn't complain. I only wish the portions would be bigger but that's me - a seafood-craving-lunatic. On our second visit we had some delicious pizza (and the waiting time was smaller). The staff is friendly, overall. But as at most places in the area, conversing in English can have its limitations, so make sure you use some Italian words too, if you can.

11/07/2024: The very beautiful structure is in a central position with respect to the town but at the same time quiet. We also stayed here two summers ago and really appreciated the renovation work carried out in the meantime. Fortunately, it has maintained the traditional characteristics of the place with taste. The management is family-run and you can perceive the attention of the owners and all the staff towards the guests. Even in the dining room, impeccable service, plentiful and excellent quality food. You can breathe friendliness everywhere!! Spacious rooms, recently renovated, with panoramic balcony. It's really worth it!! Raffaella Palmieri
