What a special day at Cantina Margiotta. We were so lucky to get a vineyard tour with the beautiful mountains in the background and tasting with Francesca. She encouraged us to eat the grapes off the vine, what a treat! She is a fifth generation winemaker, and taught us so much about her vineyard. We enjoyed the Red, White and Pecorino wines along with the local cheeses and salami. Thank you, Francesca. We truly feel we have a friend in Abruzzo.

We had a memorable tour of Cantina Margiotta. The Vinyards with the mountains in the background is breathtaking. We walked among the vines and were encouraged to taste the grapes. So glad we did, delicious! We loved learning about the Montepulciano and Pecorino grapes of Abruzzo from Francesca who by the way is the only female Vigneron in the area. We loved the wine so much we brought some bottles home. Thank you Francesca for a memorable tour and wine tasting.

La Locanda del Fagiolo Cucina Tipica Abruzzese

22/02/2025: Locale eccezionale, situato in nella zona pianeggiante all'entrata del paese di Rovere per chi viene da Ovindoli. Il paesaggio è indubbiamente molto bello. La locanda è un unico edificio con una sala interna piuttosto modesta e tavoli all'esterno dove è possibile mangiare nelle giornate di bel tempo. Menù di cucina tipica abruzzese davvero eccellente. Abbiamo assaggiato gli gnocchetti porcini e tartufo, la zuppa fagioli e porcini, gli arrosticini, il carciofo alla piastra e il caciocavallo miele e pistacchio: tutto ottimo. Prezzi contenuti. Consigliatissimo!
03/01/2025: Siamo stati per la prima volta in questo locale e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Cibo eccellente sia per i primi che i secondi. La carne tenerissima e ottimi i fazzoletti di tartufo e taleggio. Personale efficiente e veloce. Complimenti a tutto lo staff
