The best truffle pasta I've ever had!!!!! Francesco recommended a bottle of prosecco, and we loved it! The staff is very attentive, kind and welcoming. Truly one of the best restaurants in Rome 🇮🇹 if you love truffles 😍 the tiramisu was excellent! I recommend it 100000%!

Definitely a special place. The price is slightly above average for any restaurant, but the central location, the helpful staff, the quality of the food, the flavor, and the uniqueness of the entire meal and the accompanying wines (Sagrantino and Passito) are unparalleled. The owner is a dedicated customer and has a special sense of humor. I came here five years ago and returned a few weeks ago, and the quality hasn't dropped a bit.

We dine with Francesco at least 3 times per year and it is alwas an exquisite experience. His taste in pairing dishes with wine is unsurpassed. In addition, Lucifero’s ability to make simingly simple dishes taste comlex and sophisticated is amazing. Bravo as always and looking forward to our next meal!

Make reservations it’s a small place. Enjoyed everything we got. They had a full page of black truffle items. My son and I really enjoyed the duck breast and honey that we had to order a second plate. We also put the honey on the focaccia bread….sooo good! So good we are going to go again! They also have fondue but we didn’t get to try it.

For decades now, every time we visit Rome, we make sure to come see Francesco. During white truffle season, it’s nearly impossible to get a table—but in other months, it’s a bit easier. This place is simply, incredibly delicious. Everything is house-made, and truffles are available year-round—different varieties, but always present. The tartare is outstanding, the fondue (cheese, meat, and chocolate) is a must, the homemade pasta is divine, and there’s a wide range of other treats like lardo, duck carpaccio, and more. The wine list is fantastically curated, with an emphasis on superb wines from northern regions of Italy. If you’re unsure what to choose, just let Francesco decide—he is always, without fail, spot on. You’ll rarely see tourists here. Romans keep this place to themselves. We’re already eagerly awaiting our next trip to Rome and another unforgettable evening here.

Heartfelt place. Whenever I can I gladly return for the exceptional food and the excellent variety of wines. The bourguignonne is unique. Excellent quality truffles.

We had an excellent stay and absolutely delicious dinner! The truffles are amazingly tasty. Perfect in every way and very charming. It's diabolically good and highly recommendable!
