All staff are friendly.
No waiting at 7 o'clock.
A fresh meal starting with raw meat.

Restaurant specializing in meat and truffle dishes, but also leaves alternatives for vegetarians. The quality is high and the service excellent, impressive choice of wines.
Taverna Lucifero is an absolute must-visit in Rome! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, but what truly made the experience exceptional was Francescomaria. He provided exquisite service, making us feel welcome and at home. He’s not only an incredible host but also a great person to talk to—kind, pleasant, and passionate about what he does.
Now, the food—simply outstanding. The truffle pasta was rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, a dish you absolutely cannot miss. But the real showstopper was the smoked duck with honey infused with duck flavor—one of the most unique and delicious dishes I have ever tasted. The combination of smoky, savory, and sweet was unforgettable.
For dessert, we had both the panna cotta and tiramisu, and they were phenomenal—each bite was pure indulgence. The wine recommended to us was also one of the best I’ve ever had, pairing beautifully with our meal.
If you’re in Rome, do yourself a favor and book a table here. Taverna Lucifero is a hidden gem, and thanks to Francescomaria, it was one of the highlights of our trip!

Excellent place for a different evening. Reservation recommended because the place is very small.
Our order included a very soft classic fondue and a bourguignonne where we felt the quality of the meat was excellent.
The service was fast and everyone who served us was courteous.

The manager was very welcoming and attentive, he was able to advise us on the choice of dishes and was always present during dinner, but without ever disturbing us. At the end of dinner he even offered us Malvasia with tozzetti. Really very warm.
The place is small but the space is well rationalized, so we had our privacy despite the room being full.
The menu was simply delicious, maybe the portions aren't truck size, but we didn't leave with an appetite, so I'd say that's okay.
The cost was in line with what I expected for a place in the centre. Indeed, sometimes in more peripheral places you pay more.

Wow! A devilishly good discovery at La Cucina de Lucifer! 🔥😈
After testing several restaurants we are delighted to have found this gem!
A warm setting, a caring boss, a team over the moon (despite the name 😜) and a good atmosphere!
The truffle pasta is a real marvel, the tasty ravioli and the excellent tiramisu fresh... 🍝🍷🍰 Not forgetting the well-stocked wine cellar, ideal to accompany this feast from hell!
In short, a devilishly gourmet address not to be missed! 🔥🍽️

We chose this restaurant convinced by the photos we found online, and I must say, the expectations were amply met, we took lard and sliced duck as a starter, both accompanied by honey, nothing to say about the duck, I feel forced to make a note about the lard, that is, they served it raw with a little honey, but it was a bit cloying, in fact we weren't able to finish it, I would have preferred that I had been served on top of a nice slice of melted bread, the first and second courses were nothing to say, really good.
