Cantina Foresi In Orvieto

Family run place, with nice ambient and delicious local food

Amazing place! Wonderful vegetable soup and amazing panini. Small family restaurant atmosphere is charming. Will be back just to visit this place again.

We loved visiting Cantina Foresi. We went twice during our visit to Orvieto. It's a very cozy place with the most delicious white wine we've ever tasted. They have a friendly cat named Teo. We loved it!

We stopped here for coffee in the morning and learned they are winery. We returned later and did a wine tasting - it was a great experience. The wine was great so we brought a bottle home. I would definitely recommend this place (even if you didn’t have time to do a wine tasting I recommend buying a bottle of their wine — it was very good and priced right!! )

It is located in the best part of the piazza del duomo and when sat outside you get fantastic views of the duomo and of the town life. You get to meet interesting people and savour the best of Orvieto Classico wines which they make. The food menu is limited but includes a selection of local meats and cheese and also a very unique porchetta with wild fennel. The service was very casual and pleasant and I will definitely be back there soon!
