The Cantina do Mori is the oldest bacaro in Venice and therefore deserved a visit. The experience was good, we had a good time even if there were some flaws. Speaking of positive elements: the wine they produce is really good, fruity and nice and fresh to face the hot day in Venice. We didn't like the cicchetti very much overall: if on the one hand the cod with white polenta was incredible, on the other hand the ones with lard were not good at all due to the not very tasty filling and the very hard bread. The sarda in saor was decent. The price was quite cheap despite the name that the cellar bears and the location near Rialto. The staff were kind and courteous.

I visited Cantina Do Mori last week and received excellent service and really liked the space. The wine selection was good, but the cicchetti were a bit hit or miss.

The oldest Bacaro in Venice, is located in the Rialto Bridge area. Legend has it that the infamous Casanova brought his conquests there. The interiors are so traditional and authentic that they seem to have been furnished specifically to film a movie scene. Run by friendly and friendly locals. Very well-stocked wine list and even the house wine is not bad. Wide selection of cicchetti, all excellent, especially their “francobolli” with crab and the canapés with cod, highly recommended. Excellent quality/price ratio. What can I say… a must-see if you find yourself in Venice.

19/05/2025: Non si può raccontare una esperienza culinaria della Piadina, bisogna viverla e in questo locale è il massimo . Quando vi trovate a Caorle, provate questo locale e oltretutto sarete accolti dal personale fantastico, gentile e disponibile.
07/02/2025: Durante i mercatini di Natale siamo ritornati in questa piadineria. Nuovo locale rinnovato in centro storico, non più solo piadineria ma anche "bacaro" con cicchetti, focacce, piccola ristorazione e buona scelta di vini. Piadine sempre al TOP, servizio al tavolo cordiale e veloce, prezzi più che onesti. Bravi ci rivedrete!
