This wine tavern is an absolute treasure. The cozy, rustic atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home, with charming copper pots hanging from the ceiling and shelves lined with carefully selected bottles. It’s like stepping into another time – authentic, warm, and full of character. The selection of wines on tap was outstanding, with something for every palate. Each glass was served with care, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, happy to explain the different varieties and make great recommendations. If you’re looking for a genuine, local wine experience with charm and soul, this is the place. I could have stayed here all evening – I’ll definitely be back!

Club del Doge Restaurant

12/05/2025: The Club del Doge has a wonderful terrace at the mouth of the Grand Canal in the sumptuous Gritti Palace. Attentive, kind and professional service and excellent execution of the dishes by the Chef. Worthy of note are the Hemingway risotto and the Meringue with citrus fruits which I hope to try again soon.

03/05/2025: Splendida cena in un bel ristorante. Ogni piatto curato con cura e cucinato alla perfezione. Inaspettate e squisite le “moleche” (granchi in permuta del carapace fritti) fuori menu. Leggerissimo il fritto misto. Un piacere la scelta del vino (24 carati). Ci tornerò. Visto l’ambiente e la qualità del cibo , il prezzo è stato sicuramente proporzionato ed adeguato. Bravi!
