The food was very good; we had two appetizers (two tartares) and two first courses. The service was excellent; the waiter was always professional, kind, and helpful. It was a bit hot, unfortunately. Overall, we had a great time.

An authentic, quality experience. Family-run, with fresh pasta and bread, still made by them. Excellent value. The real surprise is the downstairs dining room...enchanting. Excellent for lunch, a delicious and affordable meal. In the evening, romantic and well-presented. Highly recommended. Excellent prices.

Tried during lunch break, excellent first courses made on site, best bread ever, very simple but tasty second courses with excellent quality ingredients, it's a joy to have a relaxing lunch with qualified and very friendly staff, I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat HEALTHY, very good. HAPPY TO HAVE MET THEM. WELL DONE, VERY WELL DONE. BYE CHEF, SEE YOU SOON.

First time at this seemingly small restaurant, but spread across two floors. It was a family dinner, and overall, the evening left with a good feeling. The appetizers were generous, and the homemade first courses were very tasty, from tagliatelle to pici. The meat-based second courses were decent, especially the pork cheek with carrot puree, which was very delicate. Table service was quick and friendly, and the prices were medium-high, but still in line with the service provided.

A nuestra familia le encantó el Ragu y el carpaccio de res. Maravilloso servicio amable y lo recomendaría encarecidamente. Vientre de cerdo con salsa de manzana sabroso. Volveremos seguro.

Ci siamo tornati dopo tanti anni. La location ha preservato la sua atmosfera e la sua intimità, il menù è cambiato proponendo sempre piatti originali. Il servizio è come sempre attento e gentile. Il Prezzo un po’ eccessivo in assenza di sconti the fork. In ogni caso consigliato!

28/09/2025: Osteria Cantagallo was a pleasant discovery. The place is very beautiful, well-kept, intimate, and pleasant to live in, with a fabulous view of the hills. It's an excellent setting for both dinners with friends and more romantic dinners where two gourmets sit at the table and enjoy the pleasure of eating. Form and substance come together on the plate. The food is excellent and the portions are generous, fully respecting our traditions. The service is excellent: courteous, attentive, and punctual. The quality/price ratio is more than good. A place definitely worth trying, recommending, and returning to.

09/11/2025: Very limited selection of unoriginal dishes: they may be organic, but they lacked flavor. Portions were modest. Service was quick and friendly. A vegetarian restaurant should strive to offer creative, flavorful dishes that are pleasing to the eye and palate, but this was a disappointment.
07/11/2025: 5ecinque is my favourite restaurant in Firenze. Not only do they make delicious and interesting vegetarian food, it is a beautiful spot, full of character. The owner and staff are lovely, too. A true gem where I am always happy to return ❤️
