It's been a regular stop for a couple of years now every time I'm in Venice. The atmosphere is friendly and pleasant, with good wine and excellent cicchetti. I'm often alone for work and feel completely at ease.

Cantina Arnaldi is a gem. We had Venetian orange wine (Monteforche) and loved it. Relaxing atmosphere, fantastic music, and a brilliant, chatty owner who makes you feel instantly welcome. A unique spot for a glass or two. Highly recommend.

05/01/2026: We absolutely love it! Because we visited in January, on a Monday evening to be more precise, the place was quite empty. We were convinced by the Happy Hour offer - one spritz (Aperol, Campari or Select) and two cicchettes (which were really just some amazing bruschettas) - for just 6 euros. The waiter was extremely nice and was the one that convinced us to stay there actually. 100% recommend, for this nice offer, for the atmosphere and for the location, being a restaurant located in a not so touristical spot of Venice. Also, strongly recommend it for the music, they played all the 80s iconic hits.
