Historic tavern with typical local dishes: the marubini in broth didn't completely convince me because they seemed behind cooked and the filling didn't bind well to the pasta; the boiled meat and the sbrisolona with fabulous zabaglione are much better. The service seemed good to me and we had the opportunity to speak with the chef who was very kind and helpful in explaining some things about the creamy culinary tradition.

This restaurant is exactly what you can call a treat. Exquisite welcome, simple place, without unnecessary frills but very pleasant. I really appreciated the Cremonese Marubini in broth served in a nice little bowl. Delicious roast, the boiled meat dish good but I wouldn't have added cotechino as not everyone might like it. The apple display and accompanying green sauce were wonderful. Memorable chocolate and chestnut cake. Adequate bill, good guys. Recommendation for anyone coming to Cremona.
