We went to this place through friends, and it couldn't have been a better choice! The place is well-kept, and the owners are very welcoming, but the real highlight is the food. A vast menu, where you can choose whatever you like, and everything on it is delicious. The burgers are a must-try. We'll definitely be back.

I'll start by saying that I'm in the industry, owning a pizzeria in Acicastello, and on my day off, I was looking for a place to have dinner with friends. A quick search online intrigued me. If you're looking for an aperitif that combines authenticity, abundance, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place. The platter is packed with cured meats, cheeses, and honey, and the focaccia (half a bruschetta) is flaky, light, and simply delicious. To top it all off, there's a mixed fried fish platter, including Sicilian specialties and a crispy fried dish that's captivating from the first bite. The attentive and friendly staff adds a touch of warmth to the experience: thoughtful service that makes you feel pampered, perfect for an evening with family or friends. The location is quiet and familiar, ideal for those looking for a completely relaxing dinner. Furthermore, the area is convenient, with nearby parking and suitable for children. The pizza we included with our aperitif was also excellent, but believe me, there was already so much to eat that we couldn't finish it all.

The Sicilian pizzas are truly excellent, especially the Montanara and the Sicilian Rosa with salmon: tasty and well-made. However, it's a shame about the amount of toppings, which is so little—very little, concentrated in the center and absent at the sides—with an overly generous crust that reduces the actual toppings. The same goes for the pizzas: good overall, but with a dough that leaves too much space at the edge, to the detriment of the center. The service could definitely be improved: long wait times, poor organization, and often short staff at the cash register. Furthermore, it's not possible to split the bill based on individual customer orders so everyone can pay their own, not even upon request, which can be inconvenient, especially for groups. Another point worth noting is the attention to detail: tables with paper tablecloths, no napkins unless requested, and in any case, they were never brought (they never arrived), a €2 cover charge per person for tables with paper tablecloths (exorbitant to pay €2 per person for a paper tablecloth), tables cleared between customers and not set before seating other customers, and even the drink prices are a bit high compared to the average for similar pizzerias. Overall, the food quality is good, but there are management and service issues that, if improved, would make the experience much more enjoyable. It's generally very crowded, partly due to poor staff management. Overall, the food is good, although lacking in seasoning. I recommend it and hope the owner trains the staff better and even assigns someone permanent at the cash register.
