Menu of few courses but dishes prepared with care. I found it strange that the side dish is not given without the second course, personally it has never happened to me but the restaurateurs will have their own reasons unknown to me. As tasted everything five stars.

Restaurant as old as it once was, the management is always the same, the staff is polite and kind. The quality of the food is really excellent. The menu is short and fair and of high quality. The price is a little high, but we had a good time.

Un ristorante storico ricavato in un antico granaio, menu corto e piatti piacevoli, il gatto padrone di casa e il camino acceso ha donato un ulteriore tocco di magia, personalmente ho mangiato e bevuto bene, prezzo corretto per posto e qualità, servizio senza fronzoli ma che apprezzo.. spero di tornare presto.

As soon as we arrive we find ourselves in front of an evocative place that aroused a sort of general "wow". We enter and the impressions felt on the outside are also confirmed on the inside, the foundations of this old barn release a combination of enchantment, harmony and simplicity. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is given to us by the furnishings: the huge vintage tables, the terracotta floor, the sideboard ruined by time. . In short, it really felt like being in a Romagna "ca" of the past where a carefree lifestyle dedicated to worldly pleasures reigned. Too bad about the service, the woman who welcomed us seemed a little excited, angry at the world... maybe she wasn't happy with the winner of Sanremo (?) As soon as we sit down, a basket of stratospheric bread is brought to the table, very soft focaccia with a crust covered in salt, black bread as soft as a cloud and crunchy loaves of bread ideal for making the slipper. How wonderful. We decide to order: 😋 Appetizers: • Ricotta and artichoke pie with crispy bacon: a decidedly perfect flan, soft, delicate, compact and doughy (in a positive way) with a harmonious combination of flavours. A light hint of flavor was given by the crunchy bacon which contrasted the sweetness of the ricotta. The cream cheese that dripped from the top of the cake, spraying the entire dish, was also excellent. • Smoked loin with Ghiacciola oil and wild radicchio: a quality, light loin with a woody scent. Intense oil, with an olive flavor which, with that touch of bitterness, enhanced the flavor of the loin. First: • Black cabbage soup, potatoes, beans, cod and passatelli: pasta and cooking at the top, there are no excuses, here there is art, history and tradition. The only flaw was the abundance of parsley which somewhat obscured the delicacy of the other ingredients. Whatever happens, thanks to the passatello we had the opportunity to resurrect an emotion that had sunk and was almost lost in the depths of our soul. Thank you. Second: • Pan-fried rabbit with Taggiasca olives and oregano: simple and rustic and with a tender consistency. Too bad about the disproportionate quantity of oil which made everything a little too greasy. Sweets: • Chocolate cake with whiskey cream and mascarpone cake with cinnamon crumble and raspberry sauce. Normally sweet, velvety, abundant. Nothing special. Wine: 🍷 - "Leggiolo" Sangiovese Superiore 2022: ruby ​​red colour, intense and decisive flavour. The cuisine is without frills but with a lot of substance, it's a shame the same can't be said about the service. The welcome was cold, not what you expect when you go to someone's "home" and the service was fluctuating, distracted, elusive, enervated. . We felt a little neglected. In short, you come to Cà Murani to enjoy home-made but refined cuisine, substantial but delicate, traditional but not obvious. You leave satisfied with the pleasures of the palate but disheartened by the context. Rating: 72/100 Price: €120 (with €26 of wine).

Locale accogliente e originale, sembra un casale romagnolo antico , ma sei nel centro di Faenza. Bellissimi tavoli di legno restaurati e pentole di rame su antiche credenze della nonna. Un gatto davanti alla finestra e una stufa d'epoca completano il quadro. Cibo ottimo con prodotti caserecci e stagionali. Ottimi I primi e ottima la carne. Molto buono anche in vino rosso locale. Servizio accogliente e veloce. Torneremo e lo consiglieremo

12/07/2025: Ottimo ristorante e ottimo servizio. Ci sono stato più volte assaggiando vari piatti, tutto perfetto, la selezione dei vini mi ha stupito.
23/06/2025: Pur non essendo sul mare è il posto giusto per degustare pesce di qualità e veramente pescato (anche a miglio 0). La nostra scelta ha escluso i primi, non per l’offerta proposta, ma perché volevamo gustare piatti particolari come il carpaccio di gamberi di S.Spirito (deliziosi), i gamberetti bianchi dell’argentario o i gratinati e la grigliata dell’adriatico, cotta alla perfezione su brace di legno. Ottima materia prima e grande abilità in cucina. Perfetto il servizio. Buona scelta di vini (nel rispetto dei limiti alcolemici ti aiutano nel confezionamento delle bottiglie non consumate). Prezzi adeguati: 62€ a testa
