Camping Il Sergente In Barberino di mugello

Hotel, Bar, Restaurant (the adjacent campsite of the same name is managed differently). I agree with some negative and some positive reviews. The place, though rustic, could certainly benefit from greater attention to hygiene, particularly in the rooms (sheets and towels were still clean), and a few small improvements. The welcome was warm, and the dinner was excellent, featuring traditional dishes like homemade pappardelle with wild boar and porchetta. Prices were reasonable overall (a 66cl beer was €3). The house wine could be improved, but it was still decent compared to what you'll find in other, much more refined and trendy places. There's certainly room for improvement, but in the end, we left with the memory of an experience worth sharing.

Veniamo tutte le estati per sfuggire alla calura della piana e trascorrere qualche giorno in totale relax, in un ambiente accogliente e informale, con la possibilità di passeggiare nei boschi o fare un bagno in piscina. Il ristorante propone una cucina genuina, con gustosi piatti della tradizione mugellana a preźzi più che onesti (fanno anche un'ottima pizza). Consigliato!

Proprietario davvero maleducato e malmostoso. Ci tornerei solo per il prezzo, buona qualità prezzo e ottimo per chi percorre la via degli dei.

I needed a stop on the journey from Verona to Piombino. I found this campsite near the Direttissima Bologna Firenze exit Barberino di Mugello. I'm coming here for the second time and I recommend it to everyone for the two apartments, the silence and the magnificent Tuscan cuisine.

We didn't stay but only had dinner, finding by chance after exiting the highway this gem of times gone by... The rating also takes into account, therefore, that the place represents a place of the past, with the menu said by word of mouth, with traditional home-made dishes, a bit vintage but rustic, true and genuine. Good dinner, excellent zuppa inglese, honest bill...we'll definitely see you again!
