Camping Il Pinguino In Cutigliano

We stayed three nights at Camping Il Pinguino in our campervan to visit the slopes of Abetone and Val di Luce. The owner, Umberto, is incredibly thoughtful and kind. He made himself available even before our departure. He provided us with detailed instructions on how to get to the campsite and even met us, alerting the nearby pizzeria of our late arrival. The restrooms are spotless, the showers are hot, and the bathroom is heated. It's a quiet place and perfectly located for reaching the slopes by car. It's located 800 meters from a hotel/restaurant/bar/grocery store where we had breakfast, a packed lunch, and a very decent dinner. The restaurant/pizzeria on the road above the campsite also offers a satisfying dinner with excellent service and good wine at very reasonable prices. In short, we couldn't have asked for more.

Wonderful place, excellent service, and a warm welcome...we'll definitely be back! We highly recommend it!
