This pan pizza has a truly fragrant, airy, and digestible dough. 🍕
In the photos, you can see the pizzas we tried: the marinara pizza (with sweet local tomatoes), egg and mozzarella, figs and nduja. Delicious.
The charming owner, Daniele Campana, told me he's been a pizza chef "forever."
Continuing the family tradition, he's chosen a completely new path to challenge clichés and create avant-garde pizza (with his own style) even outside of the big cities.
The atmosphere is truly elegant, modern, and different from the "usual pizzeria."
The space next door recently opened for tasting sessions, by reservation (in the evenings). We'll be back to try this too. 😁

The Margherita pizza was excellent, crispy, with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness in the tomato sauce. It's a must-try.
The white pizza/focaccia with onion and tuna was crispy and just the right amount of crunch. The Tropea red onion was top-notch. My only complaint, for my personal taste, was that I would have preferred a little more tuna to better balance the flavor with the onion, which was a touch more pronounced.
Overall, a wonderful place to try. Excellent products and a price that's right for the quality. Best in Calabria.

You're traveling down to Calabria, you're in the Sibari area, and you don't want to venture all the way to Corigliano to enjoy Campana's pan pizza? (Read in dialect) Of course!
The pizza is delicious, and the combination of ingredients makes the experience even more exciting.
The pizzas are varied, ranging from a simple red pizza...tomato and oregano, to pizzas with mortadella and burrata, eggplant, mozzarella, and spicy salami, one filled with mozzarella and 'Nduja, another filled with zucchini flowers, shrimp, and anchovies...and so on, as the pizza chef's imagination dictates.
The quality/price ratio is devastating. Quality wins hands down. Prices are truly low.
My advice is to go there, choose at the counter, and enjoy it with a nice Peroni a cane.
A tasting area has been set up next door, the place where the family pizzeria was born. Today, you can take a little extra time and enjoy a tasting experience, taking the right amount of time to delight your palate.

The pizzas are truly fantastic, with a crunchy and light dough that conquers at the first bite! It is important to know that they must be heated before being served, because the dough is designed to give the best of itself just like this: hot, crunchy and fragrant.
We had asked that the pizza with mortadella not be heated ... and we regretted it! So cold it loses all its magic and does not do justice to the dough.
Tip: explain it clearly to customers when they order, because it really makes a difference.
For the rest, excellent ingredients, exceptional taste, highly recommended experience! 🔥🍕👏
