I booked a table at Campamac at the suggestion of a gourmet friend who had spoken highly of their cuisine.
My friend was right, absolutely!
I was there with my wife and three other friends.
After the amuse-bouche, I ordered the "I Plin Di Oca Campamac" and the "Campamac Steak Frollata 60 gg.", my wife the same type of pasta and the "Mallard with wine reduction and black truffle".
The pasta was really good with its very thin dough and the sauce was rich, flavorful and fragrant.
I am not a big fan of dry aged beef, but I wanted to try it and I must say it was really well seasoned and well cooked. The mallard was rich in flavor.
Then I had the cheese platter - a huge selection of all the cheeses from Piedmont, amazing.
At the end the chef sent us a small glass with a marron glacé, heavy cream and grappa, really appreciated!
The service was professional, punctual and accurate. The bill was fair!

It is a high level tavern. 1 Michelin star. Modern location tastefully furnished, with an eye to tradition. Traditional Piedmontese and Langhe dishes are expertly proposed by chef Maurilio Garola and his collaborators. Furthermore, there is an infinite choice of meats with various maturations, cheeses, pasta and rice, truffles. Excellent products and raw materials all at zero km.
Both the presentation and the plating were taken care of; excellent food.
Courteous and professional owner, chef and staff.
“Endless” wine list. It is an experience you absolutely must try.

On the occasion of our wine trip and visit to winemakers we went to the Campamac restaurant. The service was great and so was the meat! The restaurant is quite expensive by Italian standards. The food as well as the wines, which are actually from the area and are sold at rather high prices. It's actually a bit of a shame... the only downer. Otherwise everything is great!

Very nice, welcoming place, excellent service, very good food, we had three starters and a Piedmontese fassona for three, truly excellent!

Today for lunch in an enveloping environment with attention to detail and hospitality. They accompany us to the table and serve us a delicate small welcome dish. We order a glass of aperitif, then two appetizers and two first courses. All delicious and well presented. Excellent offer for all parts of the menu. The desserts are very good, as well as beautiful, and are paired with a glass of dessert wine. Truly positive experience. Only two small flaws: 1. An oversight in serving the tastings with the aperitif (all nearby tables were served an extra tasting) 2. In a place of this level we would have expected a small accompaniment to the coffee. However, it was a really nice experience that we would definitely recommend

Two years ago I fell in love with this place. The food and service was outstanding. (See previous review). Unnecessary to say I was really looking forward to return.
This time was nothing special. The restaurant itself still has great decor (think Baz Luhrman and Great Gatsby). However the service was inconsistent. More like chicken running around. Restaurant were half full (at the best) but still they managed to forget us. One guy went to look for the wine we wanted and never checked back in on us. New guy and more waiting finally got us some beverages on the table after waiting a long time.
Food was good, but find it a mystery that a 900g piece of meat (including bone) wasn’t enough for two persons (one female) to be completely full. Maybe they should invest in a new scale?
A solid plus for lots of small amuse bouch/surprises from the chef.
