This is genuinely one of the best pizzerias I've ever visited! While the venue itself might be described as a bit simple or rustic in its decor, the incredible quality of the pizza more than makes up for it. The pizza is truly the star of the show — absolutely phenomenal. A minor note for international travellers is that not all staff speak English. However, they are very accommodating and will happily find a staff member who can assist you. This small effort is totally worth it for the food. If you are in Trapani, this pizzeria is an absolute must-visit. Highly, highly recommended!

Best pizza in Trapani! Thick base pizza, cut into squares and eaten with a fork - no knives allowed(very funny story behind this, ask your waiter about it) Make sure to book, it can get quite full quickly, especially in summer months. Good service. Always a good experience.

Dinner 4 of 6 in Sicily. It's advisable to book a few days in advance, otherwise it's almost impossible to find a seat inside; you'll have to wait about 15-20 minutes for a seat outside. The pizza is very good, different from a regular pizza; it's a cross between pizza and a classic deep-dish pizza. It stays soft and tasty even the next day.

Calvino is definitely a restaurant you should visit when visiting Trapani. The flair and atmosphere are a matter of taste, just like the pizza. Personally, I didn't particularly like the pizza; I found it a bit bland and lacking in flavor. While it looks interesting, it's nothing special. My partner, on the other hand, quite liked her pizza, though it probably depends a lot on what you order from the wide selection. The service was very friendly and attentive. All in all, it was still an experience and worth a visit.

This atmospheric, unassuming pizzeria boasts incredibly friendly service and delicious pizza! We returned several times, even though the only available seats were at the bar. I highly recommend it!

One of the best and hottest pizzerias in Trapani. Very difficult to make reservations by phone, but the wait is worth it. We've been to this pizzeria every time we've visited Sicily and we're thrilled. Very simple ambiance, but cool and simple. Drinks are served in bottles and plastic cups. Update September 2025: We made reservations again; it's always busy from 7:30 p.m. onwards. There were 10 of us and we were thrilled again. The prices are top-notch for this quality. I hope Calvino manages to get glasses for the drinks in the future. Then the beer 🍻 will taste even better with the pizza 🍕. Thanks to the friendly team. Excellent value for money. The small size starts at €8.50, the medium size starts at €10, and the large size is available. If you're really hungry, the medium size is enough.
