We have tried salad, grilled vegetables, pinsa, ice cream, and house wine. As a cabernet sauvignon lover, the house wine was the star of our meal. Pinsa with peperoni was delicious, too.

Very generous portions, so much so that a plate of pasta is enough for the evening. We had a pasta of the day (with grouper) and a homemade pasta with chickpeas which was very much appreciated since as a vegetarian I have difficulty finding something in fish restaurants. All accompanied by two glasses of rosé and water for €50 for two. Friendly service and homemade bread which was also exceptional.

Unfortunately we expected more. As an appetizer we ordered the mixed vegetarian one. For the price of almost 20 Euros very poor. Then the first courses: there were four of us and the dishes did not arrive together. Above all one arrived when the first course had already finished eating. Here too not ideal.
The wine was opened and made to taste, but then placed on the table and not served to everyone. The pasta dishes were quite good, but we expected a little more ☺️

La Calura – Gusto autentico a Santa Maria di Leuca
Un ristorante imperdibile per chi ama la cucina pugliese di mare: pesce freschissimo, ricette originali e sapori che parlano di tradizione e creatività. Ogni piatto è curato, il servizio gentile e l’atmosfera accogliente.
Sempre molto richiesto: consigliata la prenotazione.

Very positive experience, the homemade pasta was super good, quality fish and generous portions. Even the meat was good and well cooked. Very polite and helpful staff in the needs of the customer. Ciao from Valdobbiadene (Tv)

Eravamo incuriositi di vedere Santa Maria di Leuca e siccome si erano fatte le 14 ci è venuta fame e camminando nei vicoli ci siamo imbattuti nel ristorante . Personale cortese e buona qualità di piatti . Abbiamo mangiati piatti di pesce e di carne e tutte e due le qualità sono state cucinate con prodotti freschi, non so come sarà il servizio nei mesi più affollati. L unica pecca il non avere vino sfuso .
