What can I say, everything is good

The experience at Calura Leuca was so-so, it is still a fairly touristy place near the sea, but still with a certain commitment behind it. I want to say straight away that the fish was excellent and my seafood pasta was tasty and plentiful. The pinsa was also quite good, nothing exceptional. However we were less than satisfied with some other aspects. The chickpeas with onion cream were not good, you could only taste the citrus fruits, there were many (too many) and in my opinion they cost a little too much. Even the vegetable pasta wasn't that great. In general we noticed a bit of neglect, such as limescale on the plastic bottles brought to the table, nothing absurd, but given the not very low prices, more can be done.

What an amazing place this is! Tables in a row outside, yet the atmosphere is still intimate. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to order because of the language barrier. Homemade pasta with seafood is absolutely amazing 👏🏻

Trip before Christmas holidays. My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to have lunch, but found everything closed, as it was not high season. This very nice place was our salvation. Located in a nice and quiet alley, 2 steps from the seafront. Very delicious and abundant dishes. Sunny welcome and well pampered by the manager. Fair prices for quality-price. We will definitely be back!

A pleasant surprise! Hidden in an alley near the Leuca seafront, we wanted to try this little restaurant that had struck us from the first impact while walking through Santa Maria. We were welcomed directly by the friendly owner of the place who made us sit in the internal room (small but welcoming) and who immediately put us at ease by offering us some appetizers while waiting for our choice. The menu is varied and ranges from some typical dishes of Salento cuisine up to the pinsa Romana which we tasted in the appetizer accompanied by the mussel soute. Both excellent!! We then had a really good seafood pasta, rich and abundant which forced us to make the slipper and finally some very fresh roasted tuna and swordfish, always roasted and always abundant. What can I say, a more than positive experience also in terms of price if you take into account that sometimes in an all you can eat restaurant you spend 30 euros per person to eat "fish" and here for the same amount you really eat fish with a capital P. We will definitely return to this place next summer.

Habitués à chercher les petits restaurants cachés nous avons découvert Calura dans une petite rue non loin du bord de mer. Cuisine délicieuse avec les produits de la mer. Poisson visible avant cuisson, acceuil très sympathique la patronne parle très bien le français, très bon rapport qualité prix.
