Calanova In Capoliveri

Excellent location on the seafront. A quiet setting where you can enjoy lunch or dinner by the sea, very professional and courteous service, and very unique and elaborate dishes, but in my opinion, they don't capture the typical Elban flavors of the area.

One of the most beautiful places for dinner. Located on a beautiful beach. Very friendly service and delicious food.

Wanted to have lunch, but first had to pay 8 euros for parking.

Fantastic place, quite expensive, but outstanding service and fancy food. The kids did not like it, it was too fancy for them! However, for us it was great!

Magnificent place as always! Too bad that after 20 years it will change management next year.

Very special from the location to the food

We’ve been coming to Calanova for years, and it’s never once slipped. Sometimes it’s a pleasant, lazy lunch to celebrate something, sometimes a romantic evening when the light’s just right, and sometimes for no reason at all, other than knowing it’s going to be good. It’s hard to beat the setting: tables under old cork trees, the sea right there, and that quiet elegance that doesn’t try too hard. The menu changes with the catch, but there are standouts we always look forward to: the fresh, crisp misticanza, perfectly cooked verdesca, honey-glazed octopus, paccheri with monkfish, pink grapefruit and olive powder, a tiramisù worth guarding with your life, and the caffè gourmand, which is really just permission to have dessert twice. Service is warm, switched-on and never over the top. After so many visits, the only thing that’s changed is how quickly we book the next one.

In vacanza alla Tenuta delle Ripalte, ci è stato consigliato da più persone questo ristorante sull'omonima spiaggia. Ci siamo trovati talmente bene che siamo ritornati la sera successiva. A parte la posizione da sogno, sul mare, i piatti gourmet sono preparati con cura e sapienza. Il personale di sala è molto attento al cliente come anche il titolare, signor Christophe. Dire che ci siamo trovati bene è riduttivo, lo consiglieremo a chiunque.
