Cala Paradiso In Monopoli

A very beautiful beach resort located on a cliff. The view from here is spectacular. Inside the resort, there's a small but very well-equipped bar offering quick lunches. Typical Apulian dishes are available at reasonable prices. Also ideal for families.

We were in stormy weather, so I just appreciated the beauty of nature. It was gorgeous!

The only beach in the area, reasonably well-stocked. Prices are a bit high, the shower isn't very functional. They have plenty of seating, and the atmosphere is very well-kept and pleasant. The restaurant/bar offers a few specialties, but they're good and the prices are reasonable. Excellent for an aperitif.

Beautiful, clean, well-maintained beach. Undrinkable coffee. Bar service needs to be reviewed.

The umbrellas are a bit too close together and the prices aren't cheap. On the other hand, the food is good.

Scenic small area, so sunbeds are close to each other. We paid €40 for two beds and a parasol near the back of the sandy area. If you want to be in front of the sea, you can reserve in advance online for a few euro more. But not worth it for us, as we don't spend long enough there. Water is warm as it's the Adriatic but gets deep and rocky quickly, so I didn't spend a long time there! Bar area and toilets about 5 mins around the corner, where I relaxed with a cola and my book.

Equipped beach club, also private parking available for €5 per day, very convenient. Prices are average. The sea is fabulous! Friendly and helpful staff. The food service is a very pleasant surprise: a rustic kiosk, you order, they provide you with a placemat and cutlery that you set yourself, then a girl brings everything to your table. This ensures orderly and very fast service. Excellent round pizza, excellent fish first course, fabulous burrata. Definitely a place to return to. Well done!

Nobody was here to welcome us and tell where our sunbed was. We had to search for 15 minutes. Do NOT go for the sunbeds on the grass, absolutely not worth it. Make sure you pick the sunbeds on the beach. We ended up leaving after <1h, very disappointed. Showers are not included and cost 0.50€.

LEAVE EARLY, THE BEACH IS FULL BY 6:00 AM. To avoid any problems, I arrived at the beach at 4:00 AM.
