Cala Maretto In Civitanova marche

19/08/2025: I went for lunch on a Monday in August, coinciding with the antiques market. The place was packed, and since we hadn't booked, they very kindly put us in line. We still ate at reasonable times. The platters were generous and high-quality, the first courses were carefully prepared and generously portioned (we had tagliatelle alla pecorara, with sausage, saffron, and cream), and the dessert was also very satisfying, an excellent zuppa inglese. Dogs are welcome. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was truly pleasant, both for the atmosphere they created and for the place's character: quirky details, vaguely freaky but not overdone; I'd say more than anything, a genuine eccentricity that makes even just looking around interesting. You can also eat outside. Cover charge is €2.50, perhaps a bit steep, but still worth it. We loved it, and we'll be back!

19/08/2025: Pretty average place, with indoor and outdoor seating, but covered. The restaurant is quite clean and the waiters are very smart and fast. We waited a bit for our dishes, but I'm not complaining at all because they were really good 🤤😋. The bathroom was really good, a little old but working, except that I didn't see the light button, and it was a struggle to find it because I hadn't noticed, but it was outside the bathroom door 😅. We had a great time despite everything, we came to have a fun ride and get some fresh air. The price is 70 euros, and I think it's fair.
