The place is small but well-kept, and the staff is very friendly, fast, and professional. The cakes are excellent, perhaps a little overpriced for the portion size. Among the croissants (all delicious), the one with Dubai Chocolate is a dream. The coffee and cappuccino are also very well-prepared.

It must have been the Christmas atmosphere, but I must admit that on the afternoon of the 24th, for an aperitif, Vanessa and Chiara were truly very kind and helpful, as well as very friendly. The spritzes were excellent!

Truly excellent!!! Enchanting place! Fantastic breakfast with excellent coffee and artisanal cakes that are small masterpieces of deliciousness and freshness. The added value is definitely the staff: the girls are knowledgeable, smiling, and super welcoming. It's now my favorite place for a break or a quality breakfast. Highly recommended!

We've been going to Cake Lab a lot lately for ice cream, it's fabulous! My daughter always gets the Cake Pops... she says they're delicious! Even though it's always crowded, the service is very fast and the girls are always very kind and friendly (not a given these days). We'll continue to stop by. Well done everyone!

The croissants, cakes, cappuccino, and coffee are all delicious. The staff is kind and professional. The prices are fair and the quality is high. We love visiting the Lab and trying everything! The attached photo is what I managed to capture; I devoured the rest... am I slow, or was everything fantastic? Or both? Try it and believe it! 😂

27/02/2026: It's called a historic place...more than historic, it feels old. Luckily, we only had a macchiato and a macchiatone, prices normal for the historic center. However, we then added two classic gianduiotti chocolates, which we later discovered cost €7.50 for two. Definitely too much considering the place isn't much, the service is average, and as for the chocolates, they're nothing compared to the exquisite Lindt ones! I won't be going back, they're definitely showing off too much with these gianduiotti...even if they were made of gold!!!

13/03/2026: The bar overlooking the square is lovely, with an outdoor seating area. I had lunch with colleagues and we had a great time. The starters and main courses were good, but they also have salads, etc. The service was quick, friendly, and helpful. Recommended!
27/02/2026: The price of an Aperol is 2-3 times higher than in regular bars, though half as much as in the bar across the street in the same square... On the other hand, you're not buying a cocktail here, but the opportunity to drink a cocktail in a beautiful, sun-drenched square and people-watch... And that's worth the price.
