10/03/2026: An absolute must to visit if you're staying in the area and want to experience the most genuine hospitality and freshest fish cuisine. The waiter was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to give us the best possible dining experience. The Pizza's here are very generously covered with all the best toppings and the pasta's are delicious too! No wonder the whole place was full of locals enjoying a meal. It's a real bummer we only were able to eat here twice because of our short stay. If we're ever in the area again we'll definitely come back! Thanks for making our stay in Aspra unforgettable!

28/02/2026: We spontaneously decided to stop at Gallo d'Oro after not being able to get a table at the chic restaurant diagonally opposite – simply because we had initially only intended to have drinks. At Gallo d'Oro, however, we received a warm welcome and were immediately seated. Quite spontaneously, we then decided to order food as well – and that was an excellent decision. The dishes were superb, prepared with great care, and a true culinary delight. The service was attentive, dedicated, and pleasantly humorous. We were particularly impressed by the magnificent view of the sea, which lent the afternoon a very special atmosphere. From the outside, we would never have expected such a wonderful experience. Our conclusion: It doesn't always have to be the perfect facade – sometimes a true culinary gem is hidden behind it.
