Great place to visit an exhibition of contemporary art in an unusual museum space.
A string of salsa and space that always houses quality samples

The Chiostro del Bramante is a place to visit good-quality contemporary art exhibitions. For years, exhibitions have been organized on a general theme (Love or Dream or Emotion) from which artists create "site specific" works (not all works are created for the exhibition). In a time of "Instagrammable exhibitions" without much sense, the exhibitions at the Chiostro del Bramante are always well-curated and intelligent. There is always a route available for children (with special signs in the rooms and/or a dedicated audio guide). The cafeteria is excellent and the bookshop is very nice.
On weekends it is preferable to book.

The exhibitions are always very nice, it depends on the theme but they are always very easy to understand and very instagrammable, you will not find classical art but many facets of modern and current art with temporary installations! They are a little expensive for what they show but I always go back anyway!
The exhibition on emotions is nice, not among the nicest I've seen here though!

The cloister is very characteristic, there are two exhibitions inside, I visited the permanent one, €5 ticket but you basically have to pay for entry, what you visit is basically what you see in the photo and the fact that you can use the chess , the table football and ping pong that they have made available on the ground floor, a nice idea for the summer

Little to see and little to evaluate. €5 to access the cloister with 3 ping pong tables, 4 table football tables and a small part of an exhibition whose access costs an additional €10. We happened upon it almost by chance without knowing the artist and the subjects of the small exhibition, but in my opinion and in its current state the Renaissance cloister is not being valorised. We stopped by looking for coffee and cake - there's not a massive range of sweet options, but there are a few.
The highlight is the venue itself though - an oasis of calm near Piazza Navona, in lovely courtyard. Tables aren't the most practical perhaps, but still its a lovely place for a time out.

Fermatevi prima o dopo della vista al museo a prendere un caffè nella sala interna o in quella che contorna il chiostro.
Lo consiglio vivamente
