This place was only five minutes walking from our lodging. I was in desperate need for a coffee. I purchased a cappuccino with an expresso. The sandwiches were looking very tempting but it was early and we went with 6 danish. The price was only $10 for everything. Great experience.

Berti Caffè has a nice spot and some potential but the experience was underwhelming. The place did not feel very clean which already made it hard to enjoy. The service was extremely slow with staff seeming distracted or simply uninterested. It felt like everything moved in slow motion from ordering to getting the bill. The coffee itself was fine nothing special but not bad either. It is the kind of café where you might stop if you are already nearby but not one you would go out of your way for. With a bit more care and attention it could be much better.

The Cesar

19/08/2025: Great setting to a lovely meal which was carefully curated and super flavourful. The waves accompanying the scrumptious meal were a real delight. Hard to book but we finally managed to get a table and it was well worth it. Thanks to the staff for the attentive service and to the chef for an amazing experience. Menu is not long but great selections. We should be back soon as the courgettes and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. Thank you
14/07/2025: I loved both the beautiful location and the restaurant. The food was excellent, the service excellent. I was very satisfied. Furthermore, at the end of dinner we were able to visit the museum with the remains of an ancient Roman imperial villa located beneath the building. Wonderful!

09/08/2025: Top aperitif, fresh products, all delicious, very fair prices and friendly staff.
24/07/2025: I can understand a markup because we're in Rome, but the same products would cost half as much in Sicily. Although the quality is generally good, the price-quality ratio is therefore excessive, in my opinion.
