Dopo aver provato Baccaro la.prima volta, ci siamo ritornati e ci ri-torneremo ancora. Quando siamo in zona, ormai Baccaro è 1 tappa fissa!! Accessibilissimo anche in carrozzina, locale pulito, bello e la pasticceria... Pasticceria da 10 e lode!! Forse i pasticciotti migliori che abbia mai mangiato (e ne ho provati), straordinari!! Il loro fruttone è stata 1 scowrta, sorpresa per noi, sono davvero speciali! Caffè eccellente! Hanno un caffè locale, che è davvero ottimo! Ho provato anche il ginseng, altrettanto buono!! Prezzi nella media, spero non aumentino.. Personale gentilissimo.

01/05/2025: I booked at Gustavo's in Galatone for May Day, starting from Nardò (just 5 km away), in a group of 8 people. What can I say? It was an incredible surprise! The €30 fixed menu was a real bargain: welcome cocktail (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), a rich selection of local cheeses and 5 abundant and delicious starters. The first courses, served in the center to share, were spectacular: paccheri all'assassina, spicy at the right point, and paccheri with lard, creamy and tasty. The highlight, however, was the black suckling pig, very tender and cooked to perfection – an explosion of flavour! To close, an ice cream cone included in the price, truly appreciated. The location is wonderful, with both outdoor and indoor spaces, perfect for enjoying the day. The atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful, accompanied by a DJ set with company music that invited you to sing along. All the food was 0 km, you could feel the quality and freshness. We took bottles of Schola Sarmenti wine (15€), excellent to accompany lunch. The service was friendly and attentive, even though the place was full. I recommend Gustavo to anyone who wants a day of taste and relaxation, perhaps for special occasions or lunches with friends. Da Nardò is very close, and I will return soon!

05/05/2025: *5 stars!* I just left the Red Moon Pizzeria in Palmariggi, a few km from Otranto. I was thrilled with how incredible it is! The cleanliness is impeccable! Every detail is meticulously cared for. The staff was super welcoming and professional, they made us feel at home. Pizza? Fantastic! The crust is crunchy, the sauce is fresh and tasty. The service was very fast and the staff was very attentive to our needs. The value for money is fantastic. I highly recommend this pizzeria to everyone! If you are a pizza lover, you can't miss it. I'll be back soon! *Rating: 5/5 stars* P.S. If you want some advice, try the "Quattro Formaggi"
04/05/2025: A look beyond the counter and it seems to be in one of the many "by the slice" pizzerias in New York. Instead we find ourselves in an unsuspected place in Palmariggi that serves excellent pizzas, succulent pieces of horse meat from the Salento tradition, mixed grills, rotisserie, donuts and various desserts, superlative burgers and even very fresh craft beers produced in the back of the shop. My complete burger, with two hundred gram Irish Angus, is the winner of the evening, I have no doubts. But on the podium it also brings with it the commendable English IPA and the friendliness of the owners. Before leaving, someone suggested me Maxi Bufalo Burger and an interesting off-menu recipe. So I have at least a couple of good reasons to go back, don't you think?!
