Caffe'Royal In Pompei

As students we just wanted a cheap lunch that wasnt a 30 euro scam like every other tourist trap. Wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised with delicious pasta and pizza. Only complaint is atmosphere isnt as relaxing as a restaurant, with all the tourists walking past. But staff were lovely as was the food.

The gentlemen, a couple of brothers who run the cafeteria, were helpful and very helpful in giving me information about my visit. The lemonade, delicious!

Quick, ricotta donut and coffee. Ordered separately in premises next to each other. A restaurant in the old Italian style.

The best meal during my whole holiday! I ate spaghetti with mushroom and shrimp and it was perfect. And last but not least much cheaper as in Naples (12 €). Thank You!

The best margherita pizza I have ever eaten and for only 6 euros. Excellent food. Go order pizzas you won't regret it

A great local pizzeria. The staff were very friendly and the pizza was good. Very reasonably priced too.

I was lucky enough to cross the threshold of this pizzeria with my "belief" in not being fooled by appearances and I was fully rewarded. We ate a DOC Neapolitan pizza and delicious chips with very quick service and enjoyed an excellent coffee with typically Neapolitan desserts for a fair price. In short, highly recommended for anyone visiting Pompeii, and if you pass by the bar you will be lucky enough to meet Mr. Pasquale Cascone, a very kind, friendly person who made me feel like a family. I hope to return one day to say hello to him. Cross that threshold too and you won't regret it!!!!

Excellent service and delicious food.

For a good local food experience i highly suggest this place! Food was delicious, the vibe of the place screams local and the staff was very helpful. The menu is big and what we tried was pasta dishes! Top place. Dont judge just by walking outside! Also the prices are fair! Inside we saw the classic wood oven for pizza making so it's on our list to come back for the pizza experience as well!

Excellent Margherita pizzas and calzones. Great coffee. Nice and welcoming owners!!
