Caffe'Royal In Pompei

The restaurant appears to be family-run. I sit at the table and receive the menu within seconds. I order gnocchi alla sorrentina, and within minutes of ordering, my plate of gnocchi arrives, plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend eating there because it's not your typical tourist restaurant, but a real restaurant that makes you feel at home. Excellent food and excellent value. Next time I'm in Pompeii, I'll definitely be back.

After several hours at the excavations, the delicious pizza rollo with salami gave me energy for the next few hours of exploring the town itself. I highly recommend it, great ingredients and great prices!

Quick service from this take-away window allowed us to keep pace with our day and avoid being too hungry.

I'm not sure what drove my husband and I to choose to eat here but both of us were very glad we did. After a few hours at the Pompeii site we were ready for lunch. This was one of my favourite meals of our trip, the gnocchi all sorrentina was amazing. Prices were reasonable and staff were very friendly, even giving us a small gift as we were leaving. I would recommend this place!

Just about the best food in Pompei, it's a cafe and a pizzeria, run by two older gentlemen. It takes a bit of patience but it is SO worth it. Do try the Limoncello Spritz and their Slushies!!

As students we just wanted a cheap lunch that wasnt a 30 euro scam like every other tourist trap. Wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised with delicious pasta and pizza. Only complaint is atmosphere isnt as relaxing as a restaurant, with all the tourists walking past. But staff were lovely as was the food.

The gentlemen, a couple of brothers who run the cafeteria, were helpful and very helpful in giving me information about my visit. The lemonade, delicious!
