Decent croissants, appetizers... Mediocre and expensive angry ones

Excellent Vergnano coffee shop. Very good coffee, prompt service, and a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Recommended.

I find it truly incredible that in a well-established bar like this, they use plastic glasses instead of glass ones... they have glass but you always have to ask for it... also the plastic glasses are dirty because they are all ruined, UNACCEPTABLE!

Bari is a large, busy city, yet here we truly found peace. We arrived early, with the idea of relaxing and passing the time until our late afternoon departure on the ferry to Greece. I absolutely loved this café-restaurant. The staff spoke limited English, but we managed to communicate perfectly well. They were very friendly and patient with us. The late breakfast was delicious — the salad with mushrooms was bellissimo! The setting, for me as a writer, was a great source of inspiration. We sat cozily in a corner, soaking in the beautiful Italian atmosphere, the local mentality, and the passion of the customers. I don’t think the visitors or staff realized just how much we enjoyed ourselves. Since the ferry was leaving later in the evening, we stayed on, and our brunch slowly turned into lunch — followed by a delightful dessert. It was simply perfect. Top marks! Thank you for the wonderful afternoon you gave us, and once again: compliments to the staff.

In my opinion the only flaw is the bathroom with a light that turns off while you are in. It wouldn't cost much to change the on and off system, especially in such a busy place.

Excellent bar, very kind and available even for requests outside of drinks, which few do.

The place its very pretty, the employee's are super friendly and kind, the food amazing, it even have a outside park for the ones the prefer the open space for breakfast.
