A rustic, family-run restaurant in the heart of Varzi, highly regarded for its traditional Lombard cuisine, featuring local specialties such as homemade ravioli with braised beef, pisarei e faso (a kind of pasta with beans), local cured meats, and fresh artisanal pasta. These dishes are accompanied by homemade desserts and a wine cellar specializing in Oltrepò Pavese wines. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service friendly and informal, and the excellent value (around €20-€30 per person) and generous portions make it ideal for a hearty lunch or dinner (though sometimes the service can be a bit long because the dishes are freshly prepared).

Very welcoming atmosphere, friendly and helpful owner. Excellent cold cuts, and the braised beef ravioli are superb! Fairly priced.
