Caffé S.Spirito In Firenze

The bread is a few days old. I ordered a bresaola carpaccio with grana. Carpaccio as I understand it, nothing at all. Very little marinated and it was just ham and cheese, with a tiny drop of oil. Today, after a few days in Italy, I ordered a toasted grappa. It tastes like cork, I guess they had it open for a long time. But like everything, the first impression in a restaurant can be wrong. When I go back to Florence, I will repeat. I don't like to give bad reviews, you always have to try again!

Very reasonably priced food and drink in the centre of Firenze (Florence). I had the Bacon Cheeseburger, wife had the Ham, Cheese and Courgette Foccasia with half litre of the house white. No complaints and the service came with a smile.

I have lived in Santo Spirito for twenty years. The meat is good as is all the offerings. But they are a bit clever; I ordered a Santo Spirito flatbread (€8.50) and rightly paid for it as such. When I went to pick up the Schiacciata I found a sandwich, which cost one euro less on the menu. I don't care about the euro more or less, but it wasn't a nice gesture. I don't know if it was a mistake, a necessity or a bit of malice, in any case it is not done, even more so with a resident.

Very average.. we tried schiacciatas, we had sandwiches with bread that looked like burgers with lots of crumbs.. In any case it looked like everything except schiacciatas.. we ate anyway and it wasn't bad.
