Caffè Roberto In Torino

Very passionate and professional owner, excellent bicerin!

We stopped into Caffe Roberto on our tour of Turin for the famous Hot Chocolate. Amazing and friendly service. The hot chocolate was outstanding as were the pastries. Nice atmosphere. We loved our visits and highly recommend.

Small restaurant in the historic center of Turin. Very good value for money, we ate very well there. We recommend.

Bonet and bicerin really excellent. We were there in the early afternoon, the place inside was empty, a little dated... but trust me, a very good bonet! Then the owner was very kind and explained to us how to best enjoy the bicerin... the gianduia cake was also excellent!

good coffee, a little expensive...nice place, polite and knowledgeable staff

Actually only popped in for a coffee but that soon changed and we found ourselves sat in a really nice, family type environment, eating local dishes and sampling home made beer. Very reasonably priced and I have to say filling dishes. We then finished off with a Turin local drink called Bicerin which is a combination of cold coffee, chocolate and cream and is very nice indeed. We love going off the main tourist trail and finding new places and this didn’t disappoint. Whilst it had tourists popping in it very much seemed to not appeal to many, maybe because of the simplicity of the place but that gave it its charm. Anyway it worked for us as we didn’t want to be surrounded by tourists we wanted to be immersed in the Italian experience. If we are ever visiting Turin again we will be going to caffe Roberto agin for sure.

Correct food and service. A menu, a first course, 3 beers and a water for 48 euros.

excellent coffee in the center of Turin where you can also enjoy the cold summer bicerin, a true delicacy created by the owner. Very elegant environment, kind and very helpful owner. Normal prices for high quality.

Food was great. The incovenient was when we ordered, the waiter practically forced us to order the touristic menu for all 4 of us, after we explained that it would be too much food for us and we do not want it and even after that, after il primo piatto (which obviously hasn’t been fully eaten) we asked them kindly if it’s possible to take it away and they said yes. When we got to pay the whole lunch and asked for the food they replied that they threw it away. Disgraceful
