Caffè Renzelli is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and historic cafés in Cosenza, a must-try for those who love quality and tradition. During our visit, we ordered two coffees, a mini Prussiana, and a typical Cosenza Christmas dessert, scalille. The coffee was excellent, intense, and well-balanced, served to perfection. The mini Prussiana was fragrant, delicious, and meticulously prepared. The scalille deserve a special mention: truly excellent and perfectly crafted according to the traditional recipe, with an authentic flavor that evokes the aromas and memories of Christmas in Cosenza. The attention to quality ingredients and respect for local tradition are clearly evident, elements that make this place a true institution. A place that combines history, flavor, and hospitality. Highly recommended for those visiting Cosenza or those who want to rediscover the flavors of yesteryear. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Standard, average place for coffee. Perfectly located. Cappuccino was 7/10 and we prefer the one in Delizie nearby. Here it’s Illy coffee and personally I prefer different ones. Plenty of places to sit inside. We had small misunderstanding with the service as they didn’t understand we want to order coffee latte and brought us tea instead but that’s fine. Chocolatte sweet was cool and tasty and the green one imitating pistacchio was very artificial in taste, not the best one.

Historic bar in the city center. One of the best cafes in town, hands down. The almond cake is excellent, and the classic varchiglia is unbeatable.
