Propaganda was an amazing restaurant to eat at in Rome.
The food was delicious, clearly prepared with care and love. The beef was tender and beautifully cooked, and the stuffed squid was just as good, full of flavour and perfectly done.
I could not resist the fruit and custard tartlets. The pastry was crisp and sweet, and the custard with the fruit on top was simply heavenly. You could really taste the attention of the pastry chef.
The staff were kind and helpful. My Italian is quite good and I was happy to speak it, but they also spoke English, which made everything easy. They were warm and attentive without being intrusive.
If I return to Rome, which I hope I do, I will definitely be coming back here.

For a place so close to the Colosseum, you would expect it to be a bit touristy and very expensive. However, this was WONDERFUL! The food was superb, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the prices were very reasonable indeed. They catered for my coeliacs, and for our slightly fussy son, and we all loved our meals. Highly, HIGHLY recommended!!

Beautiful restaurant, good seat, good italian foid with nice and welcoming personnel. Good quiet jazzy music. And all for good prices. Even menu for €15. Two minute walk drom Colosseo.
