Caffè Principe In Forte dei marmi

An aperitif of excellent quality.

The legendary Bar Principe in Forte dei Marmi, refurbished by Prada. There is an atmosphere of sweet seaside life in true Italian style, everything is so photogenic. Friendly and fast salesmen, the prices are what they are, you have to count where you are. My Tassoni cedar was excellent, perfect after a nice walk. I noticed they also have ice cream, next time I'll try it!!!

Caffè Principe a guarantee. Exceptional place for the fort. Perfect for relaxing with friends, for working and for having a quality drink. The only flaw if I can say... it closes a little early (00)

Snobbish environment... prices a little above average, but I can say that the aperitif was accompanied by delicious almonds and olives etc..., good ice cream, I recommend it to those who can afford to spend something beyond expectations... .., top place, top service. To return....

Location is everything, don’t except more. Go for Prada style, people watching when in town, and bring a bit of time ( e.g. when the market is next door and classic drinks like shakerato) + location + Prada style + go for drinks, not food - food is the worst and most careless I had so far on Italy trip (had a sandwich, a mixed salad on the side with some leaves and few tomato chops for 15€, yes it’s the location) - service is slow, be active and don’t except much and double check your bill (we got overcharged) - bathroom is gross (no paper, all dirty and spilled, hygiene factor) Setting: went there during lunch with friends

chic, modern, luxury café that offers both drinks but also more "elaborate" dishes to be able to have a light lunch, I came here to Forte dei Marmi to spend a quiet weekend in luxury, away from the chaotic and frenetic city, and I have to to say that this cafe completely met my expectations, despite the high prices of Forte, this cafe is expensive but not too much, I had a salad, the Caesar salad, not the best I have ever eaten but it was still good, with some sauce yogurt that they served you separately. I paid €16 for it. we paid a total of €36 for two. (two salads and a water) beautiful location!

A cocktail of pleasure, taste, friendliness and quality in a mix of relaxation. This is how I describe Caffè Principe. A counter full of delicacies for every taste and palate. My compliments to the barista Caterine (she makes top-notch cappuccinos. Greetings to all the staff, and happy mid-August ⛱.

This was our third visit to this establishment. On our previous visits, we enjoyed cappuccinos and croissants at the bar, but today we decided to sit down for a full experience. The staff in white dresses were exceptionally kind and welcoming, and they promptly escorted us to our table. However, after being seated, we experienced a 15-minute wait before anyone acknowledged our presence. When a staff member finally approached, he simply stood at our table, silently staring at us for about 20 seconds without any greeting. I eventually had to ask if he was going to speak. For such a wonderful venue, it's unfortunate that this particular staff member seemed untrained in basic customer service. While I did not catch his name, we visited on August 10 at 1 PM. He was tall, wore glasses, had a dimpled chin, and curly hair. His demeanor was more suited to a different profession, as it lacked the warmth and professionalism expected in hospitality. Same demeanor when he brought our order. Sad! That said, the coffee & pastries here continue to be excellent.

Il budino di riso di Marchesì è la risposta milanese alla pastiera napoletana. Questo è una torretta cilindrica dal sapore squisito, con canditi e uvetta. Assaggiato al bar Luce della Fondazione Prada e mai più dimenticato. Ritrovarlo qui è una gioia per gli occhi, ancor prima che per il palato.

Era un po di tempo che venendo al Forte non frequentassi più il Caffè Principe, ma la ristrutturazione mi ha incuriosito e sono entrato notando immediatamente la differenza con la vecchia gestione. Accoglienza al top e presa di comande al tavolo veloce dimostrando efficienza ed efficacia servizio di lusso: ottimo il croissant e il cappuccino ed il congedo è stato Excelsior con un bel sorriso ma il vi aspettiamo una prossima volta è stato ancora più eccellente. Si respira un atmosfera da Grand Hotel Ritz Paris.
