Caffè Positano In

The food was incredible. The lemon spaghetti was ridiculously good, along with the fettuccine alfredo. The service is quick and accurate. Once a table with a great view opened up, they invited us to move there, and we ate with a stunning view of Poscitano, the ocean and cliff side. For desert, I could not recommend the lemon sorbet more, served inside a lemon. Truly a highlight of the trip!

Alvaro and our other server were absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. Their warmth, attentiveness, and friendly energy truly elevated our experience at Caffè Positano. It’s service like this that makes you want to come back—highly recommend!

Great location and amazing views. The food took way too long to arrive. The grilled squid had what seemed to be rocks in it, almost chipped my teeth. Their spinach dish would have been great although they put Parmesan cheese in it, I don’t know why they did that it made it taste disgusting. Without Parmesan it would have been good. The mixed seafood pasta had a decent amount of sand in it. Overall a not so good crunchy food experience. The views were nice and restaurant looked super cool and clean. If it wasn’t for the rocks or whatever was hard, the squid would have been my favorite.

Stay in Positano (beautiful), breakfast and lunch at Caffè Positano...what can I say? Everything was fabulous: the quality of the food, the breathtaking view, and the courtesy of the staff. Highly recommended.

Beautiful view with good food and good drinks

One of the best restaurants I’ve visited in a long time. The place stays open late, which is perfect if you want to enjoy a relaxed dinner without rushing. The service was outstanding — the staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The food was simply amazing. Every dish tasted fresh and perfectly prepared, and the prices were surprisingly very fair for the quality you get. The view is absolutely stunning, which makes the whole experience even better. We loved it so much that we came back twice — once for breakfast and again for dinner. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

We went to a cafe in Positano—it was a decent place overall, but my impressions were mixed. I ordered pasta with lobster—it was my first time trying lobster. They gave me special utensils, but I didn't know how to use them. Unfortunately, the waiters didn't explain how to use them, and it felt like they were just watching from the sidelines. It was a bit awkward. My boyfriend and our friend had delicious food—especially the shrimp. The tomato salad was pretty average, nothing special. We sat outside, but without a great view—tables with a view were literally being filled every minute, and we were just unlucky. Overall, the food was good, but I would have liked more attention and involvement from the staff, especially when the guest is experiencing something new. Il ristorante è carino, il cibo nel complesso buono. Ho ordinato la pasta con l'aragosta - era la prima volta che la provavo, ma purtroppo nessuno mi ha spiegato come usare gli utensili. Mi sono sentita un po’ a disagio, sarebbe stato bello ricevere un piccolo aiuto. I piatti del mio ragazzo e del nostro amico erano buoni, specialmente i gamberi. Abbiamo mangiato fuori, ma purtroppo senza vista, i tavoli migliori erano sempre occupati. Nel complesso un’esperienza discreta, ma con un po’ più di attenzione ai clienti sarebbe stato molto meglio. 🌸
