Caffè Positano In

We went for dinner two days in a row because they have good options for vegetarians. Dinner on day 1 was fantastic, no complaints. After considering the experience, we went again but this time the hostess was not at all welcoming. We wanted a table with a view of the cliff, and we were willing to wait for current diners to finish as it was full but the hostess pointed out to a small table in a corner and said, "this is what we can give you, choice is yours." The table was so cramped that it could barely fill 2 people.. while at the same time, there were other couple who were waiting for table even before us, and they were being given free Proseccos till they get their desired table. Overall, food was great but somewhere we felt they were little racist towards certain group of folks. Btw, we noticed the same behavior from the hostess towards other folks from similar race. We were willing to stay for dessert and some more wine but these experience ruined our desire.

Their smoothies are fresh, flavorful, and perfectly blended. I also have to rave about the toast—crispy, hearty, and topped with just the right ingredients. Every bite felt like a little celebration of good taste. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff are attentive, friendly, and genuinely care about your experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Cafe Positano makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great food, stunning views, and top-notch hospitality!

Food was tasty. The staff was a bit rude

This place has amazing views of the ocean and surrounding city, with beautiful outdoor seating. The staff were also attentive and kind. However, as a foodie, I was quite disappointed in the food quality and flavors. For the cost we paid, I wouldn't eat there again due to this.

I found this place on my way to my accommodation and decided to come here for dinner. :) It was raining, so I couldn't sit on the terrace with its ocean view, but the inside was still quite cozy. 🧡 Many people recommended the vongole, so I ordered it. It was seasoned well and delicious!! The grilled sea bass wasn't bad either. They greeted me in Korean and even made small talk every now and then, which made it even better! I was also happy to receive a gift postcard. (Actually, I was a little excited because I saw another review saying they received a cup, lol.)

The view is beautiful and the atmosphere is nice. The food is okay, too. The staff isn't all that friendly.

We visited on Tuesday & were lucky enough to get a sea view. Food was the best I’ve eaten since arriving a week ago. We enjoyed it so much we came back the following night & had the same meal.

This place is PHENOMENAL!! Fresh tasting food, incredible warm and friendly service, and an unbeatable view. What more can you ask for!! The beef fillet was 10/10

Zucchini pasta was so good!! Views and location was perfect 10/10 recommend will be coming back here again!!

Altogether food, services the vibe, and the atmosphere were an excellent experience at the Cafe Positano. The staff made our dinner very memorable. I got to meet the owner and the master chef and they were very friendly. You can see they are a great team that truly serves with love. And they did not ask for a tip like some other places. While we were waiting for a table they offered us free wine.
