Caffè Positano In

We went to a cafe in Positano—it was a decent place overall, but my impressions were mixed. I ordered pasta with lobster—it was my first time trying lobster. They gave me special utensils, but I didn't know how to use them. Unfortunately, the waiters didn't explain how to use them, and it felt like they were just watching from the sidelines. It was a bit awkward. My boyfriend and our friend had delicious food—especially the shrimp. The tomato salad was pretty average, nothing special. We sat outside, but without a great view—tables with a view were literally being filled every minute, and we were just unlucky. Overall, the food was good, but I would have liked more attention and involvement from the staff, especially when the guest is experiencing something new. Il ristorante è carino, il cibo nel complesso buono. Ho ordinato la pasta con l'aragosta - era la prima volta che la provavo, ma purtroppo nessuno mi ha spiegato come usare gli utensili. Mi sono sentita un po’ a disagio, sarebbe stato bello ricevere un piccolo aiuto. I piatti del mio ragazzo e del nostro amico erano buoni, specialmente i gamberi. Abbiamo mangiato fuori, ma purtroppo senza vista, i tavoli migliori erano sempre occupati. Nel complesso un’esperienza discreta, ma con un po’ più di attenzione ai clienti sarebbe stato molto meglio. 🌸

Excellent place, the view is incredibly good.

The food was delicious, the service was great and they were very friendly, the view was beautiful and the cover charge was very cheap, wonderful service and as a gift they give you very beautiful postcards of Positano🍋❤️

The carbonara was delicious. The raviola was a bit dry (like cold songpyeon?). The salad was fresh. The server was friendly. I enjoyed the meal.

Excellent place, priceless food, drinks, and views, but the best part was the service. Special mention to Alvaro for his kindness and friendliness.

We enjoyed limoncello at this particular shop while watching the wonderful view of Positano. Very polite waiters and communicators! We are waiting for you Greece 🇬🇷

I love this restaurant with view of the Ocean, good service all the staff , the kinds of food was really good pasta tuna and beef my favorite !

Service was awful for breakfast. The wait staff messed up our group's order 3 times. Not only that, the wait staff arrogantly waves us off like he understands what we want and wants us to be quiet but still brings us the wrong dish. He did this twice as well. No apologies either and we know they messed up because they say our correct order is coming when it takes them several more minutes to make. This place is a definition of a tourist trap; heavily foot traffic with a fantastic view of Positano but coupled with lousy service and overpriced, mediocre food. I advise walking past this place.

It’s a great spot in Positano,with breathtaking view ,if you are like to be seated outside . The stuff super cool and helpful. Food tasty and fresh .Highly recommended 👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We ate here for our first meal in Positano and loved it so much that we came back for our last. Great food, great people and gorgeous view! 10/10 recommend!
