I've stopped by this place several times for breakfast and work. I've always found it very welcoming and quiet. Yesterday I organized an event for 30 people and I can only confirm that it's a beautiful place. Beyond the quality of the food, the service was fantastic. I found the people welcoming, like the location, and helpful. Very, very nice. It's worth a visit.

We were visiting Bari during the Christmas holidays, and the Caffè Portineria offered us a peaceful corner where we could read, enjoy herbal teas, and enjoy a quick, high-quality snack. We spent a few hours in a pleasant, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. The atmosphere is full of references to musicians and artists that made us feel at home. Paola was wonderful and attentive, welcoming me and my family with great kindness and helpfulness. Thank you ☺️

You're sick, you're hundreds of miles from home, you've checked out, and you have to wait until the afternoon to catch the train. It's cold in Bari on December 31st, but suddenly a yellow window appears in front of you. You walk in and immediately realize it's a refuge. Welcoming, warm, human. For three days, nothing you eat seems to want to stay inside you, and when, after a herbal tea, you think the only thing you want is a small plate of plain rice, you let it slip to the counter...and there it is! The best plate of plain rice you've ever eaten, your stomach and your heart thank you. If I ever get back to Bari, I already know where I'll go to be pampered, just like at home, especially since there would have been a few tempting, heartfelt dishes to try... Thank you, and let's hope a thousand concierges spring up in every neighborhood 😉

SUPERB COOKIE WORKSHOP! I've known Caffè Portineria for a while, and it's always been the perfect place to spend quality time with friends, work on your computer, or read a book, always feeling pampered and welcomed by Luca and all the staff. But recently, they've truly outdone themselves with the cookie workshop for mothers and children run by Paola. Paola is knowledgeable and professional, but also fun, always smiling, and above all, very patient! She organizes the workshop down to the smallest detail, with so much love and dedication. A great way to spend a couple of hours with your child, having fun and making delicious cookies! Highly recommended, especially for those looking to organize a different kind of birthday party for their child.

Everything was perfect! We celebrated my son's birthday here with a cookie-making workshop organized, coordinated, and supervised by the wonderful Paola. My son and his friends had a blast, and we parents had a great time too!
